冻浦鱼惊的典故

孝敬父母、尊敬师长一直被认为是中华民族的传统美德，历史上有行孝道成仙的东晋道士许逊，还有晋时为母卧冰求鲤的王祥，等等。后来，王祥卧冰求鲤的故事演变为成语“冻浦鱼惊”，为孝亲之典。

王祥，字休征，琅邪人，是个至孝之人。他早年丧母，继母朱氏待他不慈，数次在他父亲面前说他不好，于是失去了父爱。他每天被责命清扫牛房。父母有病，他衣不解带地事奉他们，毫无怨色。

有一次，继母重病，要以鲤鱼做药。当时天寒冰冻，王祥不顾严寒，来到河中，解开衣服，卧冰求鲤。这时，冰忽然自动裂开，一双鲤鱼跃出河面，王祥持鱼而归。一片孝心，如愿得偿。

乡人惊叹，以为是他的一片孝心感动上天所致。
