基本解释灌夫，西汉人，初以勇武闻名，为人刚直不阿，任侠，好饮酒骂人。与丞相田蚡不和，后因在蚡处使酒骂座，戏侮田蚡，为蚡所劾，以不敬罪族诛。事见《史记·魏其武安侯列传》。后用以指人借酒发泄心中的不满。

灌夫骂坐的典故

公元前131年，安武侯田蚡娶燕王的女儿，失势的魏其侯窦婴与将军灌夫奉王太后的命令前去祝贺。灌夫给他们敬酒，田蚡及他的手下不理不睬，灌夫大骂他们，田蚡抓了灌夫全家。王太后出面要挟杀了灌夫，窦婴也被流言蜚语所杀。
