春秋时期，孔子经常与学生讨论为人的问题，他说：可鄙的庸俗低级的家伙不能与之同事，当他没得到权势或好处时，他生怕得不到就想方设法得到。而当他得到时，却又怕丢失掉。像这样的人都是利欲熏心，处处为个人打算，什么坏事都能干得出来。
