死灰复燃的典故

西汉时，韩安国是汉景帝与梁孝王身边一个很受欢迎的人。但是他年轻的时候，也曾经发生过一段曲折的故事。

由于受到某件事的牵连，他被送进监狱等最后的判决下来。在监狱里有一个叫田甲的看守，对他非常不礼貌，常常毫不留情地羞辱他。有一次安国被欺负得太过份，就告诉田甲说：“你不要以为我这辈子就没有出人头地的一天，暂时熄了火的灰烬，难道就没有可能再烧起来吗？”田甲得意地说：“如果会的话，我一定会撒泡尿浇熄它。”可是，过了不久，安国无罪释放，而且还当上了大官。这时，田甲只好低头向韩安国认错。
