两虎相斗的典故

卞庄子发现两只老虎，立即拔剑在手，准备刺杀。身旁的小僮劝阻他说：您看两只老虎，正在共食一牛，一定会因为肉味甘美而互相搏斗起来。两虎相斗，大者必伤，小者必死。到 那时候，您刺杀伤虎，就能一举两得。卞庄子觉得小僮说得很有道理，便站立等待。

过了一会儿，两只老虎为了争肉，真的嘶咬起来，小虎被咬死，大虎也受了伤。卞庄子突然 跳出去，挥剑猛刺伤虎，果然不费大力，就刺死伤虎，一举获得两虎。
