害群之马的典故

黄帝是中华民族的祖先。一次，黄帝要去具茨山，却在襄城迷了路。这时，他遇到了一位放马的男孩，便问他：“你知道具茨山在什么地方吗？”男孩回答说：“知道。”黄帝又问：“你知道大院的住处吗？”男孩也回答说知道。黄帝听后心里很高兴，说：“小孩，你真了不起，既知道具茨山，又知道大院住的地方。那我再问你，你知道如何治理天下吗？”男孩回答说：“治理天下也没有什么大不了的。前几年，我在外游历，当时还生着病，有位长辈对我说：‘你在外游历的时候，要注意日出而游，日入而息！’我现在身体好多了，打算去更多的地方。所谓治理天下，也不过如此罢了。”黄帝觉得男孩很聪明，便再次要男孩回答究竟如何治理天下。男孩只得说：“治理天下的人，其实与放马的人没什么两样，只不过要将危害马群的坏马驱逐出去而已！”黄帝很满意男孩的回答，称他为“天师”，并恭恭敬敬地对他拜了几拜，然后才离开。
