牟融是伪造的唐代诗人。全唐诗卷467有牟融诗一卷，但实际上这个牟融乃是明人伪造的，唐代没有牟融这个人。陶敏《全唐诗·牟融集证伪》一篇，指出牟融其人明中叶以前无闻，从朱警《唐百家诗》开始出现，其中记载的唐代著名人物居然横跨了几个时代，而另一批人物则属明代著名人物，再从地理、典故等加以佐证，确认此集为明人伪造。
