林季仲[约公元一一三八年前后在世]字懿成，自号芦山老人，永嘉人。生卒年均不详，约宋高宗绍兴八年前后在世。喜为诗，语佳而意新。宣和中进士。高宗时，赵鼎荐为台官，累迁吏部郎。秦桧主和议，季仲引句践事争之，大忤桧，辽罢去。后官太常少卿，知婺州。以直秘阁奉嗣。季仲著有竹轩杂著十五卷，今存六卷，《四库总目》传于世。
