田锡（940～1004），字表圣，田锡初名继冲，后更名为锡。嘉州洪雅（今属四川眉山市）人，祖籍京兆（今西安），唐末避黄巢之乱定居四川眉州洪雅（今槽渔滩镇）。曾祖父、祖父均为当时洪雅之名士，太平兴国三年(975)进士，官至右谏议大夫。北宋初年政治家和著名作家，在宋初的政坛和文坛享有较高的声誉。深为宋初士大夫所景仰。 生于晋高祖天福五年，卒于宋真宗咸平六年，年64岁。
