谢元汴（一六○五—？），字梁也，号霜崖。澄海人。口讷，寡言笑。性颖异，读书过目成诵，博通六经子史。南明隆武元年（一六四五），赴福州投唐王，授兵科给事中。以直忤郑芝龙，革职归里。南明永历二年（一六四八），至肇庆谒桂王，复授兵科给事中。次年，奉命募兵平远。桂王西奔不返，遂奉母隐居丰顺大田泥塘。乱定，还居潮州郡城。母卒，披缁入台湾，不知所终。有《烬言》、《放言》、《霜崖集》、《霜山草堂诗集》、《和陶》、《霜吟》诸集。清康熙《潮州府志》卷九上、清乾隆修《潮州府志》卷二九有传。
