纵横天际为闲客，时遇季秋重阳节。阴云一布遍长空，
膏泽连绵滋万物。因雨泥滑门不出，忽闻邻舍语丹术。
试问邻公可相传，一言许肯更无难。数篇奇怪文入手，
一夜挑灯读不了。晓来日早才看毕，不觉自醉如恍惚。
恍惚之中见有物，状如日轮明突屼。自言便是丹砂精，
宜向鼎中烹凡质。凡质本来不化真，化真须得真中物。
不用铅，不用汞，还丹须向炉中种。玄中之玄号真铅，
及至用铅还不用。或名龙，或名虎，或号婴儿并姹女。
丹砂一粒名千般，一中有一为丹母。火莫燃，水莫冻，
修之炼之须珍重。直待虎啸折颠峰，骊龙夺得玄珠弄。
龙吞玄宝忽升飞，飞龙被我捉来骑。一翥上朝归碧落，
碧落广阔无东西。无晓无夜无年月，无寒无暑无四时。
自从修到无为地，始觉奇之又怪之。

吕岩，也叫做吕洞宾。唐末、五代著名道士。名□(一作□)，号纯阳子，自称回道人。世称吕祖或纯阳祖师，为民间神话故事八仙之一。较早的宋代记载，称他为“关中逸人”或“关右人”，元代以后比较一致的说法，则为河中府蒲坂县永乐镇（今属山西芮城）人，或称世传为东平（治在今山东东平）人。
