释道宁（一○五三～一一一三），俗姓王，歙溪（今安徽歙县）人。祝发蒋山泉禅师，依雪窦老良禅师。踰二年，遍历丛林，参诸名宿。晚至白莲，参五祖法演禅师，顿彻法源。徽宗大观中，住潭州开福寺。政和三年卒，年六十一。为南岳下十四世，五祖法演禅师法嗣。《僧宝正续传》卷二、《嘉泰普灯录》卷一一、《五灯会元》卷一九有传。今录诗一百三十二首。
