祝元膺，唐诗人。句曲（今句容）人。与段成式(803—863)同时。信道教，应举不第后，不复应举。游览自放而终。与孟不疑交往甚密，每爱诵孟诗“白日故乡远，青山佳句中”。张为《诗人主客图》标举其《送高遂赴举》等诗三首，并将其列为“广大教化主”之及门者。日僧园仁所录书目有《祝元膺诗集》一卷。殷璠《丹阳集》、《全唐诗》收录其《梦仙湟》、《寄道农》等诗三首及断句一联。《全唐诗逸》补录其断句三联。
