青草长沙境，洞庭渺相连。
洞庭西北角，云梦更无边。
复有白湖沌，渺莽里数千。
岂惟大盗窟，神龙所盘旋。
白湖辛已岁，忽堕死蜿蜒。
一鳞大如箕，一髯大如椽。
白身青鬐鬣，两角上梢天。
半体卧沙上，半体犹沈渊。
里正闻之官，官使吏致虔。
作斋为禳禬，观者足阗阗。
敛席覆其体，数里闻腥膻。
一夕雷雨过。此物忽已迁。
遗迹陷成川，中可行大船。
是年虏亮至，送死江之壖。
或云祖龙识，诡异非偶然。
近日山阳人，采菱不知还。
望见三龙浮，目若电火燃。
见龙多见尾，少见四体全。
一龙已为异，三者亦罕传。
又因鱼湖侧，水中忽生烟。
烟中一驴出，绕身步蹁跹。
俄随霹雳去，欲诘无由缘。
我闻语此事，乘舟往观焉。
径往枯葭蒲，白鹭争相先。
湖有刘备庙，实司浩渺权。
裴回无所见，归棹月明前。

姜夔，南宋文学家、音乐家。人品秀拔，体态清莹，气貌若不胜衣，望之若神仙中人。往来鄂、赣、皖、苏、浙间，与诗人词家杨万里、范成大、辛弃疾等交游。庆元中，曾上书乞正太常雅乐，他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕，一生转徙江湖，靠卖字和朋友接济为生。他多才多艺，精通音律，能自度曲，其词格律严密。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称，有《白石道人歌曲》等。姜夔对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。
