译文
脸上映出朝霞的点点金光，春色在眉间翠钿处徜徉。斜倚在凤凰枕畔，凝视锦被上的鸳鸯。帘外晓莺唱着幽婉的歌，似知我思君的一片情肠。
注释
南歌子：原唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌名。又名”南柯子“”风蝶令“。《金奁集》入“仙吕宫”。以温庭筠词为正体，单调二十三字，五句三平韵。
金霞：指帐中的妆饰物灿烂生辉，光彩照人。一说指两颊妆色匀称，有光泽，若彩霞状。又说指额头之饰物，即额黄。细：清淡。古代女妆有浓淡二种。
翠钿（diàn）：唐宋女子的一种面饰，用绿色花钿粘在眉心，或制成小圆形贴在嘴边酒窝的地方。钿，即花钿，用极薄的金属、彩纸等剪成各种小花、小鸟、小鸭等形状的饰物。
欹（qī）枕：斜靠在枕头上。欹，一作“倚”。鸳衾（qīn）：绣有鸳鸯鸟图形的彩色锦被。
帘：一作“俨”。百啭（zhuàn）：形容声音宛转动听。啭，一作“转”。

南歌子·脸上金霞细创作背景
《草堂诗余别集》中温庭筠七首《南歌子》有题曰“闺怨”，可见此词是温庭筠众多的为闺中女子代言的作品之一。其具体创作时间未得确证。

南歌子·脸上金霞细鉴赏
这首词写女子对男子的相思之情，词人运用象征等艺术手法把相思之情写得非常含蓄，极尽深婉缠绵之风格。
起拍两句，写女主人公卧于金帐中的神情，通过对面部的刻画表现出来，看似平淡闲适。接着“倚枕”句笔锋暗转，写女主人公倚枕独眠，烘染感情，透出她的孤寂与思恋。“隔帘”二句，写闻莺而惜春，闻莺而思人，再次拉大反差，加重女主人公女主人公的悲哀。时已暮春，黄莺百啭，引起了女主人公的惜春怀春之情，更感念GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人的深情厚意。“感君心”三字，将相思之情点明。从“覆鸳衾”到“莺百啭”，是一个较长的时间过程，恐此期间，相思正苦。
此词前两句抒情不露痕迹，次两句若隐若现，末句直吐衷肠。全词除运用象征、触景生情的手法来表达深婉的相思之情外，还有直接剖白“感君”的心曲，但此“感君”之心依旧隐约，不可捉摸，达到一种欲露不露、若隐若现的艺术效果，给读者以无限联想的空间。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
