译文
两人的相见越来越稀少，她思念的时间也就越来越长久，离愁别绪让她无心妆饰，那浅浅的眉毛好像淡烟中的柳叶。夜里她垂下翠绿的帘幕，系上同心结，独自卧在熏香的绣被中，期待情郎能够前来与她相会。
城头的月亮白如霜雪，思念的情郎不见踪影，蝉鬓的美人满怀愁思。庭院中树木的影子渐渐转暗，天空中银河横斜，漏壶中的浮箭报晓，天就快亮了。她又度过了一个辗转难眠的夜，见到这黎明的景色更会产生悲苦之情。
注释
眉浅：谓眉色浅淡，如淡烟中的柳叶。澹：通“淡”。
翠幕：指翠色的帘幕。一作床头锦帐讲，亦通。
待：鄂本作“侍”。
蝉鬓（bìn）：古代妇女的一种发式。崔豹《古今注·杂注》：“魏文帝宫人绝所爱者，有莫琼树……琼树乃制蝉鬓，飘渺如蝉，故曰蝉鬓。”愁绝：愁极。
宫树暗：破晓时庭院中的树影转暗。
鹊桥：指银河。银河横斜，谓夜将尽，天将明。
玉签：报更的器具。《陈书·世祖记》：“每鸡人司漏传更签于殿，乃令送者必报签于阶石之上，令鎗然有声。”
报明：报天晓。

更漏子·相见稀创作背景
温庭筠少敏悟，同其他有成就的诗人一样，自幼好学，苦心研习，除了善鼓琴吹笛外，尤长于诗词。《旧唐书》本传中说他“士行尘杂，不修边幅，能逐弦吹之音，为侧艳之词”。这首《更漏子》即为温庭筠的“侧艳之词”之一。

更漏子·相见稀鉴赏
此词完整地描写闺中女子彻夜等待GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人到来而终至绝望的情景。
“相见稀，相忆久，眉浅澹烟如柳。垂翠幕，结同心，待郎熏绣衾。”上片六句，首两句用赋法，运用简洁明净的语言，交代青年男女倍受离别之苦的折磨，直叙“相见稀，相忆久”，点明远人离去已久，由此引出闺中女子浅淡如柳的眉黛，显示其娴雅柔静的气质和孤寂凄凉的意绪。“眉浅”一句，写因相思相忆，无由与远人相见而懒画蛾眉，眉薄妆浅，其谁为容，将心情外化，以形写情。尽管如此，她仍然心怀希冀，下面“垂翠幕”三句，女子移步闺房，放下了翠幕，准备就寝，却又用锦带结着同心结，又用薰香薰了绣被。这几个动作，表现了女子的一片痴情，她在“待郎”归来。
“城上月，白如雪，蝉鬓美人愁绝。宫树暗，鹊桥横，玉签初报明。”下片六句，随着时间一分一秒地过去，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人终究没有出现，女子却是彻夜无眠。女子空对城头上的一轮冷月，内心更感悲楚。“蝉鬓美人愁绝”，简直是痛彻心扉，把一位深夜独坐的怨女形象，非常真切地呈现在读者面前。结末三句描写黎明光景，深受离别折磨的女子又熬过了这一个漫漫长夜。除“蝉鬓美人愁绝”一句为赋法外，“城上月”两句和“宫树暗”两句，都是女子所见，“玉签”一句，写所闻。正是在这“见闻”之中表现了女子的无眠和“愁绝”。作品运用了正面烘托和反面映衬的手法，将清夜的冷月、幽暗的宫树、玉签的报晓，皆透过清冷的景致渲染出凄苦的情感氛围；然而“结同心”、“鹊桥横”等痴情苦语，又很自然地流露出女子对爱情的渴望和期待，可是她的期待之情越是殷切，失落之苦便更见沉痛，给读者留下了深刻的感受。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
