译文
卷起映照着晚霞的重重锦绣帐幔，在曲曲的屏风旁无聊地击打着拍板，失意者因为什么事离开了家。
梦魂中也到不了所思念的人身边，一觉醒来太阳开始西斜快要落山了，满院的芳草衬托着残花。
注释
浣溪沙：浣溪沙，词牌名，原为唐代教坊曲名。分平仄两体，字数以四十二字居多，另有四十四字和四十六字两种。
屏风：室内隔扇，以木为之，多有雕绘。
斗红牙：竞拍红牙演唱也。斗，此指竞相演奏。红牙，红木拍板，演奏时用以节乐。
恨人：失意抱恨者。此处作者自指。
芳草：这里比喻远行的丈夫。
残花：暗喻因相思过度而憔悴不堪的女主人公。

浣溪沙·锦帐重重卷暮霞创作背景
这首词中词人将自己比作“恨人”，当为哲宗绍圣元年（1094）后眨谪在外所作。词人身在客中，面对筵宴，不但不能解除愁苦，反而更增愁闷，于是写下了这首词。

浣溪沙·锦帐重重卷暮霞鉴赏
上片写女主人公幽独的处境。起拍“锦帐”句暗示出她的寂寞，“重重”形象地揭示出她此时的心态。照应下片“扰上”二句，从情节上写她昼眠初起。“屏风”再一次生动地刻画出她因相思而失神的状态。“恨人”句点明上文所有这些反常表现的原因。
下片以抒写相思为主，兼写伤别。过拍“枕上”句上应起拍“锦帐”，以倒叙的写法，点出她的梦境，拓宽了本词的表现空间，并使词意错落有致。“觉来”句上应“卷暮霞”三字。抒发了她百无聊赖、虚度光阴的感喟。“满庭”句情景兼美，极有境界，所言虽小，所指甚大，于景语之中将思夫与自伤自怜的情绪一笔收尽，隽永自然，不露痕迹。
全词描绘一位被离别相思所苦的怨妇形象，以词中女主人公的口吻，描写了丈夫出行后她孤独、寂寞的心境，抒发了她对丈夫的刻骨相思。

秦观（1049-1100）字太虚，又字少游，别号邗沟居士，世称淮海先生。汉族，北宋高邮（今江苏）人，官至太学博士，国史馆编修。秦观一 生坎坷，所写诗词，高古沉重，寄托身世，感人至深。秦观生前行踪所至之处，多有遗迹。如浙江杭州的秦少游祠，丽水的秦少游塑像、淮海先生祠、莺花亭；青田的秦学士祠；湖南郴州三绝碑；广西横县的海棠亭、醉乡亭、淮海堂、淮海书院等。秦观墓在无锡惠山之北粲山上，墓碑上书“秦龙图墓”几个大字。有秦家村、秦家大院以及省级文物保护单位古文游台。
