亭阁高耸充溢着清秀之气，凭亭览望君可赏得清幽之景。
宛溪绿水飞过阁檐，敬亭山的云朵从窗前飞落。
清风徐吹猿啸之声时断时续，明月朗照渔歌阵阵传来。
闲逸之时自可随白鸥鸟而去，在沙岸上与鸟为群。
注释
崔八丈：名未详，当是当地排行第八的老者。八：是弟兄排行。丈：是对长辈或同辈的尊称。
水亭：是指倚水而建的亭子。
横：充溢，充塞。
清：清新。幽：幽静。
君：崔八丈。
宛溪水：在宣城东。宛溪：水名，在宁国府城东，源出峄阳山，其流清激。
敬亭：敬亭山。
白鸥：水鸟名，常群集海上，随着海舶飞翔。

过崔八丈水亭创作背景
此诗是天宝十三年（公元754年）李白在宣城时所作。天宝中叶，自玄宗天宝元年（742）到宪宗元和十五年（820）的七十九年里，是唐朝从政治上由盛到衰的转变时期。李白以孤臣孽子之身心流落江湖。所以李白的忧愤情愫极为深切，时常有抨击时政的诗作。

过崔八丈水亭鉴赏
“高阁横秀气，清幽并在君”运用铺叙手法，描绘出一幅亭阁高耸充溢着清秀之气、崔八丈可欣赏清幽之景的景致。诗人一语双关：说水亭清新，言水亭幽静，二者兼而有之。前句写“高阁”高耸开阔，充溢着山川之秀气。后句写诗人凭着水亭览望崔八丈而觉得“君”清幽，侧重表达出水亭的清新与幽静。
“檐飞宛溪水，窗落敬亭云”承接水亭的秀气与清幽，紧扣上文，写诗人在敬亭山的所见：运用比喻修辞手法，描绘出一幅宛溪水从屋檐边飞过、敬亭山的云朵从窗前飞落的景观。诗人从亭中望水飞落，恰似从屋檐边飞过。云从窗而落，侧重体现出水亭的高耸开阔、秀丽清幽。
“猿啸风中断，渔歌月里闻”写诗人在敬亭山的所闻：从敬亭山中转出猿啸，从宛溪水中转出渔歌。山水中有此清音，猿啸声因风变得断断续续，渔歌泛月遥闻。诗人在歌咏了清静幽雅的自然景物的同时，又写出了一种落寞的景况和环境：以“风”、“月”之清幽，助“猿”、“渔”之逸响，勾画出一副凄凉冷清的景色。
“闲随白鸥去，沙上自为群”描绘出一幅闲逸之时随白鸥而去、沙岸上与鸟为群的景致，诗人通过写宛溪边沙滩上白鸥的悠闲神态，抒发追求自由、闲适的情怀。“闲”、“白鸥”、“自为群”，点染出诗人追求与无机心的“白鸥”为群。一个“闲”字，传达出诗人心灵的解脱自在。
全诗四句四十字，廖廖数句写崔八丈水亭幽美的风景：檐飞溪水，窗落暮云，风送猿啼，渔舟唱晚，有声有色，读之如临画境。此诗语言通俗易懂、言简意赅，结构严紧，用字精当，写诗人游崔八丈水亭所见所闻的感受，以“风”、“月”之清幽，助“猿”、“渔”之逸响，歌咏了清静幽雅的自然景物。以“猿啸”、“渔歌”、“风”、“月”喧染氛围，使得诗意具有飞扬跋扈又不失唯美伤感的气势，从而流露出诗人内心处怀归忧国的感伤情怀。以“闲”、“白鸥”、“自为群”，点染出诗人与无机心的“白鸥”为群，意在洗尽凡心，侧面表露出诗人摆脱了有无得失的滞累、宠辱名利的羁束后的闲适心情。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
