译文
光明媚，柳花飘飘扬扬坠在行舟之中。舟中人随手采起菱花，任凭小舟顺碧流飘转。
望乡楼上凭栏远望，这满眼风光，我却无心赏景，只思念塞北故乡。
注释
引：采摘。
信：任凭。
信碧流：听任船只在江流中行驶。
扬子：扬子江，即今扬州至镇江间之江流，古称扬子江。
望乡楼：泛指可以望远的高楼。
行舟鉴赏
此诗特点在于给读者以想象的余地，读后有余味，有言外的意思和情调。
前两句写景。舟行扬子江中，岸上柳絮飘来，沾襟惹鬓；诗人斜卧舟中，一任菱花轻舟随着碧绿的江流荡漾东去。粗粗看来，俨然一幅闲情逸致的画面，仔细品味，方使人觉出其中自有一种落寞惆怅的情绪在。春回大地，绿柳飘絮，按说应使人心神怡悦，但对于客居异地的游人来说，却常常因为“又是一年春好处”而触发久萦心怀的思乡之念。何况，柳枝还是古人赠别的信物，柳花入怀，自然会撩惹游子乡思的愁绪。
如果说，诗人这种思乡的愁绪在前两句里表达得尚属含蓄，不易使人体察，那么，后两句就表露得比较明显了。“闻道风光满扬子”这一句是说，诗人自己思乡心切，愁绪萦怀，没有观赏风景的兴致，“风光满扬子”只是听人所道，他不想看，也不愿看，因为他身处江南，神驰塞北（诗人故乡在陇西姑臧），眼前明媚的春光非但不能使他赏心悦目，反倒只能增其乡思愁绪。类似这样的情状，我们在古代的优秀诗词当中是常常可以见到的。宋代女词人李清照在《武陵春》一词中写到：“闻说双溪春尚好，也拟泛轻舟；只恐双溪舴艋舟，载不动、许多愁。”同样是闻道春光好，同样是自身愁绪多，一个终于没有去，一个尽管去了，但根本无心赏景。所取态度虽殊，感情表达的效果却是同样深切的。
既然舟行扬子江，不是为了赏景，那又为何而来呢？第四句作了回答：“天晴共上望乡楼”。原来诗人是为登楼望乡而来。但读诗至此，读者心里不免又生出许多新的疑问：为什么要在“风光满扬子”的“晴天”才登楼望乡呢？诗中没有明说，留给读者去想象、体会、玩味。或许是，古时别家出走多在岁寒过后，当物华又换，春光再满时，游子的乡思倍切吧？或许是，风光明媚的晴天丽日，空气清朗，登楼望乡，可极目千里吧？所有这些，尽管没有写出，却比明白形诸文字更丰富，更耐人寻味。这正是这首绝句的神到之处。

李益(约750—约830)， 唐代诗人，字君虞，祖籍凉州姑臧（今甘肃武威市凉州区），后迁河南郑州。大历四年(769)进士，初任郑县尉，久不得升迁，建中四年(783)登书判拔萃科。因仕途失意，后弃官在燕赵一带漫游。以边塞诗作名世，擅长绝句，尤其工于七绝。
