译文
花儿凋谢，燕子归来，遵循节令又过了清明。风景是一样的，但心里却是两样的愁情，都在思念着对方。好像还记得那次在回廊里相逢，我们互相发誓要相爱三生，永不分离。
我们在丝绢上写就的鲜红的篆文，好像那天上的星星一样清晰可见。说道不辜负你我的密约，这丝绢上的深盟即可为凭。说罢已是深夜，一丝清淡的露珠湿了银色的屏风。
注释
因循：本为道家语，意谓顺应自然。此处则含有不得不顺应自然的意思。
三生：佛家语，指前生、今生、来生。
乌丝阑纸：指上下以乌丝织成栏，其间用朱墨界行的绢素，后亦指有墨线格子的笺纸。
历历：一个个清晰分明。
孤：辜负，对不住。
香露：花草上的露水。
银屏：镶有银饰的屏风。

这首词写于何时尚待考究，词写的是离情，这首词是一首悼亡词， 悼念亡妻或者是与表妹那段有缘无份的感情。

红窗月·燕归花谢鉴赏
这首词几乎全是抒吐对往日恋情的回忆，一双爱恋的人两情相许、郑重盟约的情境，深挚动人。词人对当时景象的宛然追忆，浸透了离别的酸楚。
词的上片主要是写景与追忆往昔。“燕归花谢，早因循、又过清明”，燕子归来，群花凋谢，又过了清明时节，首句交代了时令，即暮春时节。词人用“燕归”来暗指世间一切依旧，可是自己所爱之人却不能再回来，所以才会“是一般风景，两样心情”。
词到下片．纳兰睹物思人，发出了旧情难再的无奈慨叹。“乌丝阑纸娇红篆，历历春星”，在丝绢上写就的鲜红篆文，如今想来，就好像那天上清晰的明星一样。“道休孤密约，鉴取深盟”，丝绢上写的是当初二人的海誓山盟，这些文字作为凭证，见证了不要相互辜负的密约。然而，誓言也会有无法实现的一天，如今回忆起往事，情景仍然历历在目，眼泪止不住流了出来，打湿了银屏。词到“语罢一丝香露、湿银屏”时戛然而止，留给人们无限的想象空间。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
