塞翁吟·饯梅津除郎赴阙创作背景
“梅津”，即尹焕，字惟晓，号梅津，山阴人。与梦窗亲兄翁逢龙为同榜进士，也是词人的好友。“除郎”，即拜为右司郎官。“除”，即拜官之意。此词作于公元1247年（淳祐七年），与《凤池吟·庆梅津除右司郎官》作于同一年，根据夏承焘《吴梦窗系年》，时词人四十八岁。
塞翁吟·饯梅津除郎赴阙鉴赏
“塞翁吟”，词牌名，以《淮南子》中“塞翁失马，焉知非福”故事名之。双调，九十二字，前片十句，六平韵；后片九句，四平韵。
“有约”四句，触景生情的即兴之言。此言尹焕接到拜为右司郎官的任命，赶赴朝中谢恩。这是一件称心如意的美事，因此尹焕在西湖上设宴，以示庆贺。词人应约前去赴宴，在船上随手摘来一枝荷花，祝贺尹的官运像红荷花那样的红得称心如意。“晓折芙蓉”既是写实，点一“晓”字，又是暗示尹焕能早得帝宠也。“染不尽”一句，恭贺语。“薰风”，即南风。此与前“晓”字，点出时间是夏日的早上，而“染不尽薰风”，又是表示“暖风熏得游人醉”，如意郎遇如意事也。“千桃”两句，言万花似锦的春色如梦如幻。紧接着尹焕又迎来了五彩祥云庇护的夏日。“春如梦”，暗示着他们年青时候的冶游生活美如春梦。杜牧诗中“春风十里扬州路”及“十年一觉扬州梦”句，可作此注释。“弄晚色”三句，明为写实景，暗中又是赞颂词。此言船在夕阳中撑入荷花丛中，愈感花香袭人。而词中一“旧”字暗示出，词人也是在祝愿尹焕，希望他越老越得意，宦途顺遂，帝宠有加。
“从容”三句，转述自身。言自己且从容地寄情在吟诗赋词之中，用“健笔”写出一首首新清的词作。词人说：我还没到年老力衰之时，所以不必急于归隐到南屏山中的深林中去。“转河影”三句，有暗示尹焕应知富贵有期，不如归去之意。词人说：天上的银河星转斗移，圆月从东海那边太液池附近中缓缓上升，仿佛听到广寒仙子的召唤声，请你乘着一年一度来临的仙筏上溯天河，“归去来兮”。“红衣”句，也是暗示尹应趁时而急流勇退。言眼前的一片繁茂的荷花，终有凋零的一天，到那秋风萧瑟之时，也是“结子成莲”，有了结果的日子。繁华过后，终有归于清静的时候，所以奉劝老友应顺天时尽人事。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
