译文
红色的芭蕉花照映着隐隐约约的窗纱，朱红色的门帘是个小门小户的人家。绿色柳树下一位公子骑着一匹马，正在匆匆离开这户人家在断桥西边便是白堤，满湖的蒙蒙细雨笼罩着忧愁的花。
注释
天净沙：曲牌名，属越调。又名“塞上秋”，共二十八字。
红蕉：红色的芭蕉花。
朱帘：朱红色的门帘。
断桥：在浙江杭州西湖白堤上。原名保佑桥，唐时称断桥。
天净沙·湖上送别创作背景
此曲乃杭州西湖断桥送别之作。作者久住杭州，西湖题咏甚多。既为送别。自是要写离愁别绪。但作者并未直接抒发，而是寄情于景，以景渲染。

天净沙·湖上送别鉴赏
首二句先写送者与行者所居环境幽雅安适。“红蕉隐隐窗纱，朱帘小小人家曲。”暗示出这是一对情侣之间的送别，实际是作者的情侣送他。红蕉花的色彩隐隐约约地映在窗纱上，小巧幽雅的宅院，门上挂着朱红色的门帘，这是多么宁静清幽的环境．这是离开人叫头看到的情景。“红蕉”多被文士比喻为美女，白居易在《东亭闲望》诗中说：“绿桂为佳客，红蕉当美人。”而这里的红蕉在隐隐纱窗里，是否就是美人。“朱帘小小人家”，娴静幽雅的小院小户，却充满一种甜情蜜意的感觉，也是离人眼中所见，那几分眷恋之情就在这种氛围里。
三、四句写行色匆匆，没有思想准备，且又是在断桥分手，更加令人伤心。此是以动景映衬别愁。一对情侣就在这样的环境中依依不舍地分手了。行人骑着马在杨柳掩映的路上匆匆离去，佳人在注目远送，挥手致意，依依惜别。行人在断桥西面的白堤上离开这个令人缱绻温馨的所在，这里曾经留下那么多美好的记忆。
结末一句，移情于物，以满湖烟雨和含愁之花，将离愁别绪物我融一。“满湖烟雨愁花。”这时，整个湖面被蒙蒙的烟雨所笼罩，湖面上到处是充满忧伤而含泪的荷花。这一句以景托情，迷蒙的景物与迷茫的情思相统一，构成一幅凄迷的意境，风情旖旎，风情无限。同时又与开头“红蕉”照映，的确含蓄蕴藉，深得小令三味。
这首小令艺术表现上很有特色。作者写离别，但送别之人是谁，始终没有露面，只以红蕉、朱帘、愁花暗示GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人之人是一位女子，送别是其一对情侣之间的相送。作者没有一句言情，却通过小小人家之美，西湖烟雨之愁，尤其是含愁之花，将缠绵悱恻之爱，依依不舍之情都表现出来。是借景抒情之典范佳篇。
