译文
急风扑打着篷窗，细雨丝丝，愁闷难遣只有捻须思索，吟诗填词。西望淮阳，今日要到哪里去？盼不到一封书信来，端着酒杯向船夫问一个底细。船夫一开头就说兵戈战事。告诉我风流已成往事，不要再去回忆追思，酒楼坍塌了，茶肆也被烧成灰，歌台妓院成了军营，往日的歌妓舞女再也找不到了。
注释
小梁州：正宫曲牌。分上、下片，在散曲中较少见。句式：上片七四、七三四，下片七六、三三、四五。
闷捻吟髭：因为愁闷难遣，而捻着胡须思索吟诗。
路何之：路怎样走。
鳞鸿：即鱼雁传书，代书信。
篙师：船夫。
柳营花市：喻指歌楼妓院，妓妇女居住。
燕子莺儿：比喻歌妓。

张可久（约1270～1348以后）字小山（一说名伯远，字可久，号小山）（《尧山堂外纪》）；一说名张可久肖像（林晋生作）可久，字伯远，号小山（《词综》）；又一说字仲远，号小山（《四库全书总目提要》），庆元（治所在今浙江宁波鄞县）人，元朝重要散曲家，剧作家，与乔吉并称“双壁”，与张养浩合为“二张”。
