译文
大地一片雪白，风色寒厉，纷纷的雪花片片如大手。
笑死了陶渊明，就因为你不饮杯中酒。
你真是浪抚了一张素琴，虚栽了五株翠柳。
辜负了戴的头巾，我对你来说意味着什么？
注释
王历阳：指历阳姓王的县丞。历阳县，秦置。隋唐时，为历阳郡治。
五株柳：陶渊明畜素琴一张，宅边有五柳树。
空负头上巾：语出陶渊明诗“若复不快饮，空负头上巾”。
嘲王历阳不肯饮酒鉴赏
酒，历来是文人墨客的情感寄托，诗人尤甚，李白更是以“斗酒诗百篇”名扬天下，他常以甘醇可口的美酒为寄托，做了大量的反映心理情绪的诗。这首《嘲王历阳不肯饮酒》便是。
历阳，唐代郡县，治今安徽省和县历阳镇，因“县南有历水”而得名。当时李白访问历阳县，正值大雪纷飞，县丞设宴招待李白，李白席间频频举杯，赞赏历阳山美、水美、酒美，可惜就是人不“美”——没有人陪他喝酒。于是席中赋诗《嘲王历阳不肯饮酒》，豪情万丈，景象怡人。从此诗可以看出李白的心中的偶像是五柳先生陶渊明。他嘲笑王历阳表面上以陶渊明为榜样，可是喝酒不痛快，徒有虚名。“浪”、“虚”、“空”三字用得巧妙，传达出嘲讽及激将之意，充分显示了李白的冲天豪气。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
