译文
猛虎隐伏在尺把长的草丛，藏腿难蔽身。 有如咱张公子，飞扬跋扈在风尘。
难道你没有横腰而系的宝剑？只是韩信当初在淮阴的时候也受尽委屈。
你现在要击筑去向北燕，在易水滨高唱燕歌。
等你归来，我们相聚泰山上，我们一起隐居，当个好邻居。
注释
尧祠：祭祀尧帝的祠堂，在充州城东泗河金口坝附近，拿圮。张十四I李白友人，生平不详。
猛虎：喻张十四。
张公子：即汉成帝刘骜。这里借指张十四。
肮脏：亦作抗脏，即高亢正直。
屈彼淮阴人：汉淮阴侯韩信失意落泊时，曾忍受淮阴恶少的胯下之辱，而终于功成名就。这里以忍辱全志的韩信比拟张十四。
击筑：典出《史记·剃客歹lJ传·荆轲传》，言战国末刺客荆轲游于燕市，曾与高渐离结伴，渐离击筑，荆轲和歌，自抒哀乐，旁若无人。这里用燕市击筑来点明诗人与张十四的深厚友谊。筑：古代弦乐器，像琴，有十三根弦，用竹尺敲打。

《鲁郡尧祠送张十四游河北》是天宝四载秋（745）作于鲁郡瑕丘（今充州）。

鲁郡尧祠送张十四游河北鉴赏
诗中并没有对尧祠一蒂景物描写，而是引用典故，借以抒发感慨，排道悒愤。继而诗人张开想象的羽翼，驰聘于人间天上，古往今来，任感情的波澜起伏变幻组合。怀着美好的愿望入京，又经受幻想的破灭的失望而引起愤慨。人生无常，诗人感想万千，宣泄于诗中。表现了诗人豁达奔放的襟怀、崇高的情操和不懈的追求，也表达诗人对当时朝廷感到失望而归隐山林之意。
首两句：意思是猛虎伏浅草始终难以遮掩猛虎的身体，猛虎喻友人。
第三、四句：“肮脏”二字表明张公子正直不阿的态度，“风尘”明指社会，暗指黑白颠倒，是非不分，奸佞得志，贤才受辱的黑暗政治。“肮脏”与“风尘”形成鲜明的对比，直言道出张十四因秉性刚直不阿，难以避免被人排挤、迫害的遭遇。暗喻是由于朝廷昏庸、权贵排斥，使诗人的政治抱负根本无法实现，而感到惆怅、苦闷以及愤懑。
第五、六句：“岂无横腰剑，屈彼淮阴人”是用了淮阴侯韩信受辱之典，意在表达猛虎伏浅草终莫能掩。在词语的运用上，也表现出独有的特色。上句“岂无横腰剑”中的“岂”字与下句“屈彼淮阴人”中的“屈彼”二字，前后呼应，不但增强了语气，而且一个威武不屈之士的形象也一跃然而出，表现出极大的力量。
第七、八句：“击筑向北燕，燕歌易水滨”无疑是借荆轲于易水河畔辞别高渐离之典，赞其为豪气英雄。如此，于风尘漂泊中的张十四伟直不阿的形象跃然纸上。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
