译文
白茫茫的御沟水在哗哗流淌，宫中的美女正在打理着晨妆。
绕堤的石条路上清冷无人，拍岸的绿波散发出淡淡幽香。
别馆里醒来，好像还在作梦，刚放下酒杯，又玩起曲水流觞。
京城本是我暂寄的漂泊之地，有幸结识您——才貌双全的何郎。
注释
泱泱：深广的样子。
靥黄：在面颊附近施以月形黄色粉妆，曰黄星靥，见段成式《酉阳杂俎》。
龙骨：御沟边雕龙的石条。
鸭头：绿色，指水。御沟有宫女洗下的脂粉，水为之香。
泛小觞：即流觞，古人斟酒于觞中，放在曲折的水中，随水流泛，在谁的面前停下，谁就喝酒。
何郎：三国魏何晏，字平叔，南阳人，有奇才，美容貌，尚金乡公主。这里借以指沈驸马。

同沈驸马赋得御沟水创作背景
元和七年春，当是李贺为百奉礼郎时，贺以入宫苑同沈驸马一起赋诗而深感荣幸便写下了这首诗，此诗为戏作。

同沈驸马赋得御沟水鉴赏
诗写自己荣幸地与沈驸马同避于宫苑御沟清波荡漾的水边，李贺想在政治上有所出路，对驸马这种身份的人难免有点巴结奉迎之心，这也是他未能免俗之处吧。即使这种应酬之作，李贺写得也不空泛，沟水流入宫苑、宫女正在梳妆，水声惊醒早梦，水流泛然、可供流觞等一系列场景的描绘，显得富有生活情趣。从诗中“绕堤龙骨冷，拂岸鸭头香”、“停杯泛小觞”来看，当是三月三日宴游作“流觞曲水”之戏。
诗写御沟之水，只起首一句直笔状水流之貌，馀皆曲为之辞，然都不离御沟和水。流入御沟之水，始则“白泱泱”，其时正值清早时候，继而水绕沟堤，已有脂粉香气。再经别馆，汩汩有声，故能惊人梦醒，曲折回环，故可流觞饮酒为乐。同游者贵为驸马，幸得相见于御沟。此诗是李贺逞才之作，有讨好之嫌，似无深寄。

李贺（约公元791年-约817年），字长吉，汉族，唐代河南福昌（今河南洛阳宜阳县）人，家居福昌昌谷，后世称李昌谷，是唐宗室郑王李亮后裔。有“诗鬼”之称，是与“诗圣”杜甫、“诗仙”李白、“诗佛”王维相齐名的唐代著名诗人。著有《昌谷集》。李贺是中唐的浪漫主义诗人，与李白、李商隐称为唐代三李。有“‘太白仙才，长吉鬼才’之说。李贺是继屈原、李白之后，中国文学史上又一位颇享盛誉的浪漫主义诗人。李贺长期的抑郁感伤，焦思苦吟的生活方式，元和八年（813年）因病辞去奉礼郎回昌谷，27岁英年早逝。
