雅燕飞觞，清谈挥麈，使君高会群贤。密云双凤，初破缕金团。窗外炉烟自动，开瓶试、一品香泉。轻涛起，香生玉乳，雪溅紫瓯圆。
娇鬟，宜美盼，双擎翠袖，稳步红莲。座中客翻愁，酒醒歌阑。点上纱笼画烛，花骢弄、月影当轩。频相顾，馀欢未尽，欲去且留连。
满庭芳·咏茶鉴赏
这是一首饶有情韵的咏茶词，上片咏宴集烹茶，细致优雅；下片引入情事，兼写捧茶之人。
上片前三句写群贤高会宴饮的情状，为下文咏茶作铺垫。“雅燕”，即雅宴，高雅的宴会。“飞觞”，举杯饮酒。觞，古代盛酒器，呈雀形，称羽觞，故谓举觞为飞觞。挥麈清淡，本魏晋名士风习，常执麈尾（拂尘），挥动以助谈兴。如《晋书。王衍传》谓衍“终日清谈，……每捉玉柄麈尾”。“使君”，对州郡长官的尊称。这里当指周熟仁。此三句既点出主人风姿之高雅，又点明宴集之盛大，群贤之脱俗，为写品茗助兴作好了辅垫。“密云”二句入题。“密云”，茶名，又名密云龙、密云团。“双凤”，茶名，即双凤团。“密云”、“双凤”皆珍贵的茶饼。“破”，谓擘开茶饼。“缕金团”等名茶皆为贡品，皇帝又每以分赐大臣，即所谓“赐茶”。“外”二句，写生炉子煮水。
古人煮茶，非常讲究选水。扬水江南水，有“天下第一泉”之号，词中的“一品香泉”，也许就是指这最佳的泉水。“轻涛”三句，细写烹茶的情状。宋人很讲究煮茶的方法：把泉水倒进茶瓶，用风炉加热，小沸即可（即术语的“蟹眼”），再把研碎了的茶叶投入，便有白色泡沫浮茶汤上面，称为“玉乳”、“雪花乳”，然后轻轻搅拌，便可斟饮。
这片四句，写美丽的侍女高擎茶具款客的动人场面。“红莲”，指女子的脚步。“坐中”二句，紧承上文。对着名茶美女，怎能不感到良宵太短呢？反愁歌阑酒醒时，人将归去。“点上”二句，说月已当轩，夜深矣，而马弄月影，已不耐烦、暗示已到该离去之时。“频相顾”三句，偏写座客尚未尽欢，流连不忍离去。“相顾”，与上文“娇鬟”呼应。
此词既细腻传神地写出了煮茶的程序，又写出了雅宴清谈中侍女的娇美，坐客的流连，表现了高会难逢，主人情重的意蕴，充满清雅，高旷的情致。

米芾（1051-1107），北宋书法家、画家，书画理论家。祖籍太原，迁居襄阳。天资高迈、人物萧散，好洁成癖。被服效唐人，多蓄奇石。世号米颠。书画自成一家。能画枯木竹石，时出新意，又能画山水，创为水墨云山墨戏，烟云掩映，平淡天真。善诗，工书法，精鉴别。擅篆、隶、楷、行、草等书体，长于临摹古人书法，达到乱真程度。宋四家之一。曾任校书郎、书画博士、礼部员外郎。
