菊花译文及注释
译文
一丛一丛的秋菊环绕着房屋，看起来好似诗人陶渊明的家。绕着篱笆观赏菊花，不知不觉太阳已经快落山了。
不是因为百花中偏爱菊花，只是因为菊花开过之后便不能够看到更好的花了。
注释
秋丛：指丛丛秋菊。
舍（shè）：居住的房子。
陶家：陶渊明的家。陶，指东晋诗人陶渊明。
遍绕：环绕一遍。
篱（lí）：篱笆。
日渐斜（xiá）：太阳渐渐落山。斜，倾斜。因古诗需与上一句押韵，所以应读xiá。
尽：完。
更（gèng）：再。

菊花鉴赏
东晋大诗人陶渊明写了“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”的名句，其爱菊之名，无人不晓，而菊花也逐渐成了超凡脱俗的隐逸者之象征。历代文人墨客爱菊者不乏其人，其中咏菊者也时有佳作。中唐诗人元稹的七绝《菊花》便是其中较有情韵的一首。
第一句“秋丛绕舍似陶家”的“绕”字写屋外所种菊花之多，给人以环境幽雅，如陶渊明家之感。诗人将种菊的地方比作陶家，可见秋菊之多，花开之盛。这么多美丽的菊花，让人心情愉悦。
第二句“遍绕篱边日渐斜”表现了诗人专注地看花的情形。第二句中的“绕”字写赏菊兴致之浓，不是到东篱便驻足，而是“遍绕篱边”，直至不知日之将夕，表现了诗人赏菊时悠闲的情态。诗人被菊花深深吸引住了，其爱菊之情，似较五柳先生有过之而无不及。“遍绕”“日渐斜”，把诗人赏菊入迷，流连忘返的情态和诗人对菊花的由衷喜爱真切地表现了出来，字里行间充满了喜悦的心情。前两句短短的十四个字，有景、有情、有联想，活脱脱地勾勒出一幅诗人在秋日傍晚漫步菊丛赏花吟诗而乐不思返的画面。
三四两句“不是花中偏爱菊，此花开尽更无花”，点明了诗人爱菊的原因。这两句以否定句式陡地一转，指出自己并非没来由地钟情菊花。时至深秋，百花尽谢，唯有菊花能凌风霜而不凋，独立支持，为世界平添了盎然的生机。诗人热爱生活、热爱自然，这四季中最后开放的菊花使他忘情，爱不能舍了。诗人从菊花凋谢最晚这个角度出发，写出了自己独特的爱菊花的理由。其中也暗含了对菊花历尽寒冷最后凋零的坚强品格的赞美之情。中国古典诗词常借物咏怀喻志，如屈原的《桔颂》，陈子昂的《感遇》，都是范例。元稹《菊花》一诗赞菊花高洁的操守、坚强的品格，也是这种写作手法，寓有深意。
这首七言绝句诗，虽然写的是咏菊这个寻常的题材，但用笔巧妙，别具一格，诗人独特的爱菊花理由新颖自然，不落俗套，并且发人思考。诗人没有正面写菊花，却通过爱菊，侧面烘托它的优秀品格，美妙灵动，意趣盎然。该诗取陶诗的意境，且也以淡雅朴素的语言吟咏，便不似陶公全用意象，蕴藉之至；而是在描绘具象之后，以自述的方式道出爱菊之由而又不一语说尽，留下了想象空间去回味咀嚼，这就增强了它的艺术感染力。

元稹（779年－831年，或唐代宗大历十四年至文宗大和五年），字微之，别字威明，唐洛阳人（今河南洛阳）。父元宽，母郑氏。为北魏宗室鲜卑族拓跋部后裔，是什翼犍之十四世孙。早年和白居易共同提倡“新乐府”。世人常把他和白居易并称“元白”。
