丙申岁，吴灯市盛常年。余借宅幽坊，一时名胜遇合，置杯酒，接殷勤之欢，甚盛事也。分镜字韵。
暖风定。正卖花吟春，去年曾听。旋自洗幽兰，银瓶钓金井。斗窗香暖悭留客，街鼓还催暝。调雏莺、试遣深杯，唤将愁醒。
灯市又重整。待醉勒游缰，缓穿斜径。暗忆芳盟，绡帕泪犹凝。吴宫十里吹笙路，桃李都羞靓。绣帘人、怕惹飞梅翳镜。
探芳信·暖风定创作背景
词序中的“丙申”，即公元1236年（宋理宗端平三年），根据夏承焘《吴梦窗系年》，当时词人三十七岁，在苏州仓幕。此时词人与苏姬两人正处在两情相悦，情投意合之时。
探芳信·暖风定鉴赏
“暖风定”三句，述天气。言暖洋洋的煦风微拂，似将定息，这时候外面有人像去年那样吟叫起迎春的卖花声。“旋自洗”两句，买花。词人闻声出去买来了一丛兰花种上，随即用银瓶从井里汲来清水，洗清兰叶污泥并灌浇之。“斗窗”两句，扣词序中“借宅幽坊，一时名胜遇合”之意。“斗窗”，言窗小，借喻居室狭小。此言不久，摆在小窗上的兰草开花了，词人的朋友（即“名胜”）们，来他的居室赏兰花，饮佳酿，并分韵填词。时间过得飞快，外面已响起了报晚的更鼓声。因为居室狭小，实在难以留客，所以虽然室内仍兰香飘荡，暖意融融，令客人们浑然忘归，词人还是硬起心肠下了逐客令。“悭”，有缺欠之意；“悭留客”，即为没有条件留客。“调雏莺”两句承上，当客散朋友们离开之后，面对桌上的狼藉杯盘，词人心中对离去的朋友们实在还有点觉得抱歉不安，于是叫出小女儿将桌上的杯盘撤去。眼不见心不烦，这时候才稍微减轻些对朋友们的内疚心情。
“灯市”三句，扣词序中“吴灯市盛常年”。言节前街上的灯市又像往年一样重又开张，今年更是胜过往年。所以词人在客人们离开后，也乘着酒兴，收拾坐骑，信马由缰，醉熏熏地穿街过巷去观赏灯市景致。“缓”、“斜”二字，活现了醉鬼骑马的神态。“暗忆”两句。言词人漫行经过一处地方，想起这里恰是他与苏姬海誓山盟之处，不觉激动得泪湿绡帕。从这儿读者可以看出词人实是位多情种子，感情十分丰富，所以对男女之情常沉溺其中，不能自拔。“吴宫”三句，化用杜牧《赠别》诗：“春风十里扬州路，卷上珠帘总不如”的意境，盛赞苏姬之美。此言苏姬的美貌，十里吴城皆知其名，甚至连盛开的桃李花都羞得不敢与她媲美。绣帘中的绝世佳人啊，只怕飘下一朵梅花沾在妆镜上，更增添了你的妩媚。“飞梅镜”，化用寿阳梅花妆典故。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
