数年湖上谢浮名，竹杖纱巾遂性情。
云外有时逢寺宿，日西无事傍江行。
陶潜县里看花发，庾亮楼中对月明。
谁念献书来万里，君王深在九重城。
书情寄上苏州韦使君兼呈吴县李明府鉴赏
“数年湖上谢浮名，竹杖纱巾遂称情。”据《唐诗纪事》及崔峒朋友们的诗文记载，崔曾登进士第，大历中任拾遗、补阙等职，后因事贬为潞府（治所在今山西襄垣县北）功曹，终被贬于州刺史，卒于贞元中期。从诗的作年和诗中语气来考察，这首诗可能即作于潞府功曹任上。功曹属于闲官，且诗人所居之地又远离朝廷，因而诗的上句说数年来漂泊江湖，摒弃做官的虚名，下句“竹杖纱巾”，是隐者装束，意思说自己逍遥自在地生活，大遂平生之愿。金圣叹批曰：“‘遂’字妙！妙！言亦既宽然有余，更无欠缺也。不知何一日何一故又要献书，遂又生出无数不称情”（《金圣叹选批唐诗》卷之四上）以“遂”字为中心解这两句诗，一语中地。下一联具体描写潇洒的生活：“云外有时逢寺宿，日西无事傍江行。“云外”，即指世俗之外，宦海之外，此指诗人现居的闲散之地，此联诗人自述一切率意而为，有时逢寺即宿，有时日落西山，无事时沿江漫行。这两句颇似司空曙《江村即事》中“钓罢归来不系船，江村月落正堪眠”一联的意趣。
颈联归结到寄韦李本意。“陶潜县里看花发，庾亮楼中对月明。”上句陶潜指李明府，陶曾为彭泽令，故以陶比李，下句庾亮指韦应物。陶渊明既为“古今隐逸诗人之宗”，李又是崔峒友人，从那首《赠同官李明府》中“流水声中视公事，寒山影里见人家”的句子，可以看出李明府也是一位胸怀磊落的人物；庾亮为晋朝太尉，《晋书》卷七十三载：亮都督江荆六州军事，镇武昌。“诸佐吏殷浩之徒，乘秋夜共登南楼，亮至，将起避，亮徐曰：‘诸君少住，老子于此兴复不浅’。便据胡床啸咏，其坦率多类此。”“楼中对月”疑写此事。韦应物为大历、贞元间著名山水诗人，性格清雅闲静，诗风恬淡，亦非追求功名利禄者。崔峒以两位清雅疏放的古人，比喻两位同样雅洁的今人，说他们做官，不说政绩怎样，而说看花、对月，这样写主要是对他们“吏隐”生活的向往，同时稍露自伤不遇之情。
“谁念献书来万里，君王深在九重城。”尾联转入满腹牢骚不平，诗人向两位朋友诉苦：我不远万里，到京城献书，谁知“君之门兮九重”，一片赤诚，难以上达天听，不为君知。这两句并不是“悔献书”，他对献书毫不悔恨，只是怨自己运气不好，怨君王深居禁中，不能赏识自己的才干，使得他不能象韦苏州和李明府那样，既能当官，又过着“潇洒送日月”的生活。“十才子”诗中常交织着“仕”与“隐”的矛盾。他们都是中下层知识分子，对他们来说，最惬意的莫过于“陶潜县里看花发，庾亮楼中对月明”这样吏、隐两全的生活，崔峒因未得到这种“待遇”而产生怨恨，不过，他的“怨”，是“怨而不怒”，合乎中庸之道的。崔峒的友人王烈有一首《酬崔峒》诗，对他的矛盾心理写得很形象具体：“狥旬世甘长往，逢时忝一官。欲朝青琐去，羞向白云看。荣宠无心易，艰危抗节难”。
崔峒的诗全国仅存一卷，唐人高仲武《中兴间气集》被选录了崔诗九首，并评价云：“崔拾遗，文彩炳然，意思方雅。”这首诗，意象高华，投赠之意，怨愤之情，出以雅正之笔，为崔诗中的佳作。

崔峒（一作洞），生卒年、字号皆不详，唐代诗人。登进士第，大历中曾任拾遗、补阙等职。集贤学士。其余事迹不祥。唐朝大历年间和李端、卢纶、吉中孚、韩翃、钱起、司空曙、苗发、耿湋、夏侯审合称“大历十才子”。崔峒的诗现在仅存一卷，唐人高仲武《中兴间气集》选录了崔诗九首，并评价云：“崔拾遗，文彩炳然 ，意思方雅。”
