日击收田鼓，时称大有年。
烂倾新酿酒，饱载下江船。
女髻银钗满，童袍毳氎鲜。
里胥休借问，不信有官权。
村豪鉴赏
这是一首揭露乡村中土豪的诗篇。村豪，指乡村豪富之家。农民辛勤劳动了一年，果实全被地主村豪掠夺去了。这些土豪在地方上势力很大，连官府也干涉不了他们。他们不是官，但势倾官府，是农村中的恶势力。
诗的开头两句：“日击收田鼓，称大有年。”写秋收日程已到，村豪们每天敲击收田之鼓，召集佃农们为他们收割，他们督催别人辛苦劳动，让人家头顶烈日，脚踩污泥，汗水滴在田地里，自己只在一旁监收。他们占有绝大部份的土地，剥夺别人的劳动果实。除了打鼓催唤佃农刈禾之外，还不时在啧啧称道说：“今年是大有的丰年。”他们沾沾自喜，恬不知耻，自居田地的主人，在他们看来，连佃农们最低限度的穷苦生活，也全出于他们的恩赐。
三四两句写村豪在夺取佃农劳动成果之后，狂欢享乐，尽情享用用粮食新酿的美酒，包载下江运谷的船只，颐指气使。这两句反衬佃农劳苦终年，吃的却是粗粝之食。五六两句，写这些村豪家里的人全都过着锦衣玉食的生活，妇人的头上插满银钗；儿童的衣袍，全用细软的毛皮和丝绸制成。这两句反衬劳动者衣不蔽体，女无裙裤，孩子们在秋天，也全无衣着。一旦天寒，只有忍饥受冻。
结尾两句：揭露村豪是一股顽固的势力，不仅乡村的小吏不敢过问他们，更教人难以置信的是：他们权势熏天，终年鱼肉人民，毫无顾忌，就是地方官，也奈何他们不得。这“不信有官权”一句，写得极为沉痛，逼近杜甫。
全诗所述，都是实况。作者同情人民，疾恶豪霸，在做地方官的时侯，对农村现实，有深切的了解。他对贫富不均、苦乐悬殊这一社会现实，则是深恶痛绝的。这首五律正是在这样的心情下写成的。

梅尧臣（1002～1060）字圣俞，世称宛陵先生，北宋著名现实主义诗人。汉族，宣州宣城（今属安徽）人。宣城古称宛陵，世称宛陵先生。初试不第，以荫补河南主簿。50岁后，于皇祐三年（1051）始得宋仁宗召试，赐同进士出身，为太常博士。以欧阳修荐，为国子监直讲，累迁尚书都官员外郎，故世称“梅直讲”、“梅都官”。曾参与编撰《新唐书》，并为《孙子兵法》作注，所注为孙子十家著（或十一家著）之一。有《宛陵先生集》60卷，有《四部丛刊》影明刊本等。词存二首。
