译文
红蓼花开，夹岸香浓。绿波春水，向东流去。此时正好坐着小船，在江上愉快地遨赏。
渔翁酒醒，又再划舟前行。鸳鸯被惊飞去。屡屡回头而望。一杯在手，便解开紧锁的双眉，销尽愁绪。
注释
浣溪沙：词牌名，双调四十二字，上阕三句三平韵，下阕三句两平韵。
红蓼（liǎo）：一种生长在水边的植物。夏秋季开花，花浅红色。也称水蓼。
舫：船。
棹（zhào）：划船的桨。
却：还。
浣溪沙·红蓼花香夹岸稠创作背景
据《明一统志》卷二十七《归德府》载：南湖在归德府（今河南商丘）城南五里，宋晏元献放驯鹭于湖中。据这首词的词意推测，可能作于宋仁宗天圣五年（1027）晏殊迁谪于商丘时。

浣溪沙·红蓼花香夹岸稠鉴赏
夹岸红蓼丛生，四望但见满目繁花掩映，空气里也飘散着浓郁芳香，而相伴遥遥东去的一湾春水，碧波澄澈，正好供轻舫小舟追游嬉戏。上阕以三组连贯递进的景象，分就冷暖色调的视觉对比、波声人语的听觉感触和水气花香的嗅觉把握里，多角度地描绘出一幅春日行乐图，轻快明丽，洋溢着蓬勃生机与清朗气息。
下阕则将笔势转注于江上风光。过片谓渔父酒醒后，顿时发觉离归程已远，连忙重新拨桨返回，原来他先时酣饮沉睡，一任船儿随波飘流。不过，对此并未明写，而是通过富于暗示性的动作，由回溯追想完成。在这个空白处，假不写之写，充分体达其悠闲适意的生涯。下面再由人及鸟，续写棹动水响际，惊飞了双双栖憩的鸳鸯，忽地振翅远去，却又相互回头照看。这句表现鸳鸯神态极生动，它们的自然生理特征并具有社会人事内容的启迪性，这样便从容推出结拍，收束全篇：“一杯销尽两眉愁!”“愁”什么呢，或许是韶华易逝人生短促的伤感，对于远方恋人的眷念与离别的悲哀，某种理想境界执着而无望的追求，甚至是闲愁，一抹难以言说也不必说清的淡淡怅惘迷离情绪。总之，它烟雾般缭绕在心头，推诿不去。但一杯在手，便得释然，直觉跟前这花鸟水云无不欣欣然通合天机，与人相亲相近，又何不且乐现时的阳春美景，而拘拘自苦若是，念及此，就尽销愁颜了。
这首小词，似乎顺手写来，无须著力，却清丽畅朗，颇具天然之趣。

晏殊【yàn shū】（991-1055）字同叔，著名词人、诗人、散文家，北宋抚州府临川城人（今江西进贤县文港镇沙河人，位于香楠峰下，其父为抚州府手力节级），是当时的抚州籍第一个宰相。晏殊与其第七子晏几道（1037-1110），在当时北宋词坛上，被称为“大晏”和“小晏”。
