留在别国不是我的意愿，他国的烦劳远多余清闲。
在千万里的惊涛骇浪中，没想到竟然还能见到钟山。

异国：这里指自己覆灭的国家。
殊：不同或超过。
亡后见形诗鉴赏
让我抓住不放的是“钟山”这个词。后主对“钟山”这个词很有爱，自号钟隐、钟山隐者。“钟山”对后主来说，意味着出世、隐居、清逸。因此联系全文，“钟山”一次并非实指而是虚指。无乃见钟山并非说见不到钟山，而是说无法继续目前这种类似隐居的闲逸的状态。这首诗的中心思想应该是，有一件事他不想去做。不想做的理由是因为环境恶劣，无法像现在这样清逸闲散。
他说“不想去”，意味着有选择的余地。又说不想去的理由是因为“不能这么安逸”，意味着他目前的生活状态是相当安逸舒适的。如果是亡国前后期的作品，是否去汴京，是他可以选择的吗？他当前的生活状态，能用“安逸”来描述吗？显然不能。所以这不是亡国前后的作品。
将这首诗和后主的生平相联系，可以作以下猜测：所谓异国，并非指某个国家，而是指自己灭亡的唐朝。所谓惊涛，并非是说渡江的情景，而是自己现状。所谓钟山，并非是说某座山，而是说隐居的生活。而在后主心目中，隐居不代表清苦，而代表清逸。

李煜，五代十国时南唐国君，961年-975年在位，字重光，初名从嘉，号钟隐、莲峰居士。汉族，彭城（今江苏徐州）人。南唐元宗李璟第六子，于宋建隆二年(961年)继位，史称李后主。开宝八年，宋军破南唐都城，李煜降宋，被俘至汴京，封为右千牛卫上将军、违命侯。后因作感怀故国的名词《虞美人》而被宋太宗毒死。李煜虽不通政治，但其艺术才华却非凡。精书法，善绘画，通音律，诗和文均有一定造诣，尤以词的成就最高。千古杰作《虞美人》、《浪淘沙》、《乌夜啼》等词。在政治上失败的李煜，却在词坛上留下了不朽的篇章，被称为“千古词帝”。
