译文
郊外院子里烟雾云霞蒸腾的春光，已被我早早欣赏到了。那青翠的松树和竹子，已经寄托了我多年的心愿。
断裂的山崖，好像有图画的屏风。悬崖上飞流直下的山泉，发出了弹琴一样动听的响声。
南亭周围的草都长满了，由于花开叶茂，北院显得更幽深了。
不问世事，闲居有很多乐趣，可以尽兴饮酒赋诗。为了追求这种乐趣，我打算弃官归隐。
注释
郊园：城外的园林。即事，以目前事物为题材作诗。
春旦：春天的早晨。旦，一作“早”。
松竹：松与竹，喻坚贞的节操。故年心：多年的心愿。
断山：陡峭壁立的高山。画障：有图画的屏风。
悬溜：山泉。泻：从上而下流。鸣琴：琴声，喻泉声。
南亭：南边亭子。
开：一作“浓”。北院：北面的庭院。
饶：多。酒赋：指喜好饮酒赋诗。
抽簪：谓弃官引退。古时作官的人，须束发整冠，用簪连冠于发，故称引退为“抽簪”。簪，古人用来绾定发髻或冠的长针。

郊园即事创作背景
这首诗当作于王勃任沛王府修撰时，大约为总章元年（668）前后。春日里，诗人外出游赏郊外的园林并创作了此诗。

郊园即事鉴赏
这首描写春天的诗写得清新自然、开合有度。全诗不仅仅局限于客观地描写景色，而是更多地融入了作者自己的感受，正如刘勰所说：“诗人感物，联类不穷。流连万象之际，沉吟视听之区。写气图貌，既随物以宛转；属采附声，亦与心而徘徊。”（《文心雕龙·物色》）
首联表明诗人的心迹，同时也为全诗奠定了基调——描写春天，吟咏春天。颔联描写春天的山景、山泉，用画障、鸣琴作比，用“疑”这个表示作者主观感受的词连接，说明两者之间极为相似。虽然没有直接描写色彩、声音的词语，但处处充满艳丽的颜色、动听的音乐；虽然是侧面描写，但比正面描写更能激发想象力，更加兴趣盎然。颈联转入正面描写春天的花草，用“合”、“深”二词渲染春天无处不在，春天的勃勃生机尽现眼前。尾联写诗人游春后的感受，与首联相照应，也抒发了诗人陶醉于大自然、想要回归田园的心志。
整体来看，全诗正面描写、侧面描写相结合，首尾呼应，前后勾连。与其他只作正面描写的诗比起来，如唐代王涯的诗“万树江边杏，新开一夜风。满园深浅色，在绿波中”（《春游曲》），此诗更加含蓄新颖、耐人寻味。全诗通过描写迷人的满园春色，抒发了诗人想要弃官回归山园的愿望。

王勃（649或650～676或675年），唐代诗人。汉族，字子安。绛州龙门(今山西河津)人。王勃与杨炯、卢照邻、骆宾王齐名，世称“初唐四杰”，其中王勃是“初唐四杰”之首。唐高宗上元三年（676年）八月，自交趾探望父亲返回时，不幸渡海溺水，惊悸而死。王勃在诗歌体裁上擅长五律和五绝，代表作品有《送杜少府之任蜀州》等；主要文学成就是骈文，无论是数量还是质量，堪称一时之最，代表作品有《滕王阁序》等。
