译文
清澈的水流穿过广阔的原野，与天光云影共辉映，烟雾迷蒙中，月色昏暗，远舟像一片片树叶漂在水面。长长的河岸边是平顺的沙洲，留宿于蒲苇丛中的大雁正在寒冷的秋水中觅食吞咽。对着晓风呜呜鸣响，那是江楼上的孤角在吟唱秋意。酒后初醒，体软头晕，太阳已高高升起。
离别的思绪相互缠绕，仔细瞧瞧、两鬓发丝已不堪夹镊。舞衫绸扇，品物依旧，可如今还有人来怜爱细看吗？细数曾经的恩爱时光，只有书箱里装满关于她的书信和诗笺。带着愁容剪下燃尽的灯芯，昨夜泪眼与烛光相互映照。
注释
华胥引：此调为周邦彦始创。陈本注“黄钟”宫，题作“秋思”，《百家词》同。
冥濛：昏暗迷茫。
唼（shà）：水鸟或鱼类吞食。
别有孤角吟秋，对晓风呜轧（yà）：此句化用杜牧《题齐安城楼》诗中“鸣轧江楼角一声，微阳潋潋落寒汀”的句子。
相萦（yíng）：相互缠绕。
鬓丝堪镊（niè）：鬓发稀白，已不堪夹镊。镊：镊子，拔除毛发的用具，此作动词“拔除”解。
点检：即检点。
凤笺盈箧（qiè）：谓书箱里装满昔日的书信和诗笺。凤笺（jiān）：信纸的美称，指绘有金凤的纸。箧，小箱子，如书箧，行箧。
灯花：灯芯余烬结成的花形。
和泪双叠：谓含泪看灯花，花形两两相叠。

据清代词学家黄苏《蓼园词选》记载，周邦彦晚年不愿与蔡京奸党合作，被逐出朝廷，由徽猷阁待制出知顺昌府、处州等地，此词或在顺昌府、处州两地写成。

华胥引·秋思鉴赏
此词写歌女秋思，由送别GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人到诉离别之苦，词意绵密，守托着一片深心。相思心切，霜染双鬓，表现了歌女的执着爱情。川原望远，秋月迷蒙，道尽了天涯情味。
词的上片抓住一个“秋”字，处处表现秋悲。遥远的爱，凄切之情，逐一尽显纸上。“川原澄映，烟月冥濛，去舟如叶。”一派秋凉景像！广阔的原野，掩映在清澈的江面上；云影秋月迷迷濛濛，洒下凄清的寒光。亲爱的人已登船启航。他就这样走了，越行越远，船儿变得像一小片树叶漂向遥远的地方。这里表面上在写景，实际是写心境，写难舍难分之情。
“岸足沙平，蒲根水冷留雁唼，”长长的河岸边是平顺的沙洲，菖蒲已老，河水浸人，仿佛还留下大雁呷吃东西的声音。再写凄清之景，加强秋凉之感。“别有孤角吟秋，对晓风鸣轧。”孤角，角即画角，古乐器，用竹、木、皮或铜制成，外加彩绘，发音哀厉高亢。《玉台新咏》梁简文帝《和湘东王折杨柳》：“城高短箫发，林空画角悲。”这里是说，又听到孤独的画角奏出哀厉的调子，咏叹这悲凉的秋色。伴着清晨的秋风阵阵，发出呜呜的声音。越写秋凉秋悲，越加深情思。“红日三竿，醉头扶起还怯。”昨夜借酒浇愁，今朝醉意难醒。太阳都已经升得很高了，脑子还昏昏沉沉，连抬起头来都有几分害羞。言愁之深，真像病了一样，连床都起不来了。
下片抓住一个“思”字，处处表现相思。忆旧日恩爱，相思伴着寂寞泪，相思愁得鬓发白。秋思苦，入憔悴。
“离思相萦，渐看看、鬓丝堪镊。”离别后的思念时萦心怀，一天天过去，渐渐地鬓发变白，都已经可以拔下银丝了。真个是忧愁催人老呀。“舞衫歌扇，何人轻怜细阅。”过去舞蹈穿的衣衫，歌唱用的绸扇，品物依旧，可如今哪里还有人来怜爱细看呢？意思是，一个可怜的歌女，只有你曾经真心爱我，同情我，怜惜我。而今你已远去他乡，我就更孤独无依了。“点检从前恩爱，但风笺盈箧。”想起你，我翻开书箱，那里有你用美丽的信笺写来的满满一箱情书呵！它记录着我们往日的恩爱，抚慰着我这孤寂的心。“愁剪灯花，夜来和泪双叠。”然而愁思难消，独坐在烛台前，毫无睡意，越想越孤单，越思越凄切，止不住热泪长流；伤心的泪水和蜡烛的泪，双双叠印在一起。人们常把蜡烛熔化称为流泪，孤苦的人和泪观烛，更增伤悲；泪眼与泪烛映照，加深了相思和凄苦的描写，确是妙笔。
全词一气呵成，从晚到早，又从早到晚，内在联系紧密；朝朝暮暮，相思无限，牵心挂肠。词中景随情转，情依景移，哀婉妻切，动人心魄。走笔有如游龙，意味深厚。“川原”、“烟月”、“去舟”、“孤角”;“鬓丝”、“凤笺”、“灯花”、“叠泪”，都连着秋思，堪称绝构。词家深得味外之味，可说是写别情的动人篇章。

周邦彦（1056年－1121年），中国北宋末期著名的词人，字美成，号清真居士，汉族，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。历官太学正、庐州教授、知溧水县等。徽宗时为徽猷阁待制，提举大晟府。精通音律，曾创作不少新词调。作品多写闺情、羁旅，也有咏物之作。格律谨严。语言典丽精雅。长调尤善铺叙。为后来格律派词人所宗。旧时词论称他为“词家之冠”。有《清真集》传世。
