译文
天空寥廓环境清凉幽静，秋天的太阳特别明亮。
太阳光包罗万象，光影倒映在安静的河中。
秋光原阔与青天相合，远远望去同江湖同沉浮。
白昼里阴气远离众树木，夕阳的斜影投向高楼。
宋玉登高埋怨秋气，张衡望远产生秋愁。
太阳余辉如果可寄托，仕宦之云路怎会遥远？
注释
秋日悬清光：题出江淹《望荆山诗》：“寒郊无留影，秋日悬清光。”
寥（liáo）廓（kuò）：空旷深远。《楚辞·远游》：“下峥嵘而无地兮，上寥廓而无天。”
晶明：明亮耀眼的样子。
圆光：指日光。万象：宇宙间一切事物或景象。
碎影：细碎的光影。闲：静。
迥（jiǒng）：远。青冥：形容青苍幽远。指青天。《楚辞·九章·悲回风》：“据青冥而摅虹兮，遂倏忽而扪天。”
江甸：指遥远的江边。甸，通“淀”。
阴：指阴气。殊：绝，离。
危楼：高楼。北魏郦道元《水经注·沮水》：“危楼倾崖，恒有落势。”
“宋玉”句：宋玉《九辩》：“悲哉秋之为气也！萧瑟兮草木摇落而变衰。憭栗（凄凉）兮若在远行，登山临水兮送将归。……坎廪（坎坷）兮贫士失职而志不平，廓落（孤独）兮羁旅而无友生（知心朋友）。”
“张衡”句：张衡《四愁诗》中有“侧身东望涕沾翰”、“侧身南望涕沾襟”等句。《四愁诗》序曰：“（衡）出为河间相……时天下渐弊，郁郁不得志，为《四愁诗》。”
馀辉：即余晖，比喻天子的恩泽。
云路：上天之路，升仙之路。喻仕宦显达。悠悠：形容遥远。《诗经·王风·黍离》：“知我者谓我心忧，不知我者谓我何求，悠悠苍天，此何人哉？”

赋得秋日悬清光创作背景
此诗《文苑英华》卷一八一编入“省试”类，是王维应科举考试而作的试律诗。此诗不见于王维别集，载于赵殿成注本外编及《全唐诗》。赵殿成曰：“《诗隽类函》、《唐诗类苑》俱作王维诗，《唐诗品汇》作无名氏诗。”其作年不详。

王维（701年－761年，一说699年—761年），字摩诘，汉族，河东蒲州（今山西运城）人，祖籍山西祁县，唐朝诗人，有“诗佛”之称。苏轼评价其：“味摩诘之诗，诗中有画；观摩诘之画，画中有诗。”开元九年（721年）中进士，任太乐丞。王维是盛唐诗人的代表，今存诗400余首，重要诗作有《相思》《山居秋暝》等。王维精通佛学，受禅宗影响很大。佛教有一部《维摩诘经》，是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名，非常多才多艺，音乐也很精通。与孟浩然合称“王孟”。
