译文
一束盘起的发髻，一根玉簪插在其上，清淡颜色的上衣配上轻盈的罗裙，不知为何轻轻皱起眉头。
独自站在窗边，风声和雨声交杂在一起，窗外的芭蕉也是三三两两的，这漫漫的寂寥长夜叫人怎么办才好。
注释
长相思：此词调名在曾慥《乐府雅词》中作《长相思令》。
云：指妇女蓬卷如云的头发。
一緺（wō）：即一束。一说緺，读为guā，意为青紫色的绶带（丝带）。这里指饰发用的紫青色丝带。元薛惠英《苏台竹枝词》中有句：“一凤髻绿如云，八字牙梳白似银。”
玉：这里指插在女子头上的玉簪。梭：萧本二主词中误作“梳”。梭，原是织布用的梭子，这里用以比喻玉簪。
淡淡：指衣裳的颜色轻淡。
衫儿：古代女子穿的短袖上衣，又称衫子或半衣。
薄薄：指衣裳的质料轻薄。
罗：丝罗，这里指用丝罗制成的裙子（下裳），即罗裙。
颦（pín）：皱眉。黛：古代妇女用来画眉的青黑色颜料。
黛螺：《龙洲集》中作“翠娥”。黛螺，又名黛子螺。古代女子画眉用的螺形黛黑，亦称螺黛。因其用来画眉，所以常用以作妇女眉毛的代称。
相：指雨声和风声，相互应和，交织一起。

长相思·云一涡创作背景
这首词应是李煜前期的作品，当时“生于深宫之中，长于妇人之手”的他，作为南唐后主，生活在奢华的宫廷之中，并没有过多的忧心事。他经常去关注宫廷之中男女之间的情感，因此词中多反映了帝王生活中宫廷歌舞宴乐的盛况和男女情爱。

长相思·云一涡鉴赏
“云一緺，玉一梭”两句，分写女子发式、头饰之美，用语清新而形象。
“淡淡衫儿薄薄罗”，续写女子淡雅衣着，虽未明写容颜，但这种比喻和衬托却从侧面写出女子的容貌艳丽和气质高雅。虽只写衫裙，而通体所呈现的一种绰约风神自可想见。尤其是“淡淡”和“薄薄”两个叠词的使用，别具一格，于浅白中见新意，于细微处见匠心。
“轻颦双黛螺”，写到这位淡妆女子的表情。轻皱双眉，似乎蕴含着幽怨。相思怀人之意，于此隐隐传出，并由此引出下片。这一句突兀其来，直扣人心，不仅突出了女子愁思不解的容态，而且加强和丰富了这种容态的吸引力和感染力。“轻”字颇有分寸，它适合表现悠长而并不十分强烈的幽怨，且与通篇轻淡的风格相谐调。
“秋风多，雨相和，帘外芭蕉三两窠”，写到这是一个秋天的雨夜，秋风本就催愁，文人亦已多伤秋，更何况有苦雨相和。作者不单写风，也不单写雨，而写风雨交加，更增添了秋夜愁思的凄苦。但是作者觉得这样的环境烘托仍然不够，于是风催残叶、雨打芭蕉，“帘外芭蕉”似乎也有泪滴，秋意不仅更浓，秋思也已更苦，“三两窠”，又隐约让人感到女子的孤零寂寞。
“夜长人奈何！”春宵苦短、秋夜嫌长，原只因其一欢一愁。最后一句仿佛是女主人公发自心底的深长叹息。这叹息正落在歇拍上，“奈何”之情点到即止，不作具体的刻画渲染，反添余蕴。联系上片的描绘，不仅使人联想到，这位“淡淡衫儿薄薄罗”的深闺弱女，不仅生理上不堪这秋风秋雨的侵袭，而且在心理上更难以禁受这凄冷气氛的包围。

李煜，五代十国时南唐国君，961年-975年在位，字重光，初名从嘉，号钟隐、莲峰居士。汉族，彭城（今江苏徐州）人。南唐元宗李璟第六子，于宋建隆二年(961年)继位，史称李后主。开宝八年，宋军破南唐都城，李煜降宋，被俘至汴京，封为右千牛卫上将军、违命侯。后因作感怀故国的名词《虞美人》而被宋太宗毒死。李煜虽不通政治，但其艺术才华却非凡。精书法，善绘画，通音律，诗和文均有一定造诣，尤以词的成就最高。千古杰作《虞美人》、《浪淘沙》、《乌夜啼》等词。在政治上失败的李煜，却在词坛上留下了不朽的篇章，被称为“千古词帝”。
