译文
西汉的扬雄读书写字的贫穷住所，淮南王刘安带着酒过去一起狂饮。
兴尽才发现鸣叫的鸟儿已经换了种类，坐的时间太长，以至丁地上的落花也多了起来。
穿行在曲折的林径，烛光闪闪，等走出去后眼前豁然开朗。
一直游玩到凌晨回城，城门还未开启，一路余兴未尽，照样笙歌相伴。
注释
杨子：指西汉扬雄（一作杨雄）。此处以杨子比杨氏。
淮王：指汉淮南王刘安，这里借指岐王。
兴阑（xīng lán）：兴尽。
迳转：山路曲折回环。
银烛：白亮如银的烛光。此处也可能是火炬(晋代以前称为烛)而非蜡烛。
开：舒展，开豁。
散玉珂（kē）：指骑马从游者各自分散而游。玉珂（kē）：马勒上的玉饰。
严：戒夜。
拥：谓群聚而行。指归来时，奏乐者走在队伍之前。唐时亲王出行，卤簿中有鼓吹乐，故云。
笙（shēng）歌：合笙之歌。也可指吹笙唱歌或奏乐唱歌。

从岐王过杨氏别业应教创作背景
开元八年（720年），岐王李范带领王维等人同游杨氏别业并要求他们写诗，王维接受了岐王李范的命令作了这首诗。

首联即点出题意。“杨子谈经所，淮王载酒过”，“杨”子便是西汉的儒者扬雄，而淮王便是淮南王刘安。这两人，一个喜好学术，一个擅长学术，可惜未曾谋面。王维写淮南王过杨子谈经之所，并非有意让他们“关公战秦琼”，而是借汉喻唐，将岐王比作好客的淮南王。“载酒”二字乃诙谐之笔，表面看，是说淮王重视贤才，载酒光顾贫寒的杨子宅，实则交代岐王带领诗友宾朋游览杨氏别业，欢宴游乐。第二联“写出了作者游览的无穷兴味，情致独到，别有会心。“兴阑啼鸟换，坐久落花多”，“兴阑”，即兴尽，与“坐久”为互文，这两句以极富于诗意的笔法，写出了在鸟鸣声中、繁花影里度过的身心俱适的一夜。这一联以景传情，写景入神，体验独特，感情细腻。第三联“径转回银烛，林开散玉珂”，这两句写诗人走过曲径，穿过树林，那原本闪烁的烛光，一下子通明起来，眼前豁然开朗，看到了岐王及其扈从的车马。这一联交代了将要回去时的情景。
尾联写抵达城门时的情况：意谓纵情赏玩，深夜始归，其时城门尚未开启，即使在这样的时候，依然一路笙歌，余兴未尽。写出了诗人对游玩仍有兴趣的情感。
这首诗善于写景，且多不直接写景。如颔联不直接写杨氏别业的景色如何美好，而是说自己玩赏的时间很长，以至于树上的鸟换了种类，地上的落花越积越多。这样写使诗歌更富有启发性，余味不尽。

王维（701年－761年，一说699年—761年），字摩诘，汉族，河东蒲州（今山西运城）人，祖籍山西祁县，唐朝诗人，有“诗佛”之称。苏轼评价其：“味摩诘之诗，诗中有画；观摩诘之画，画中有诗。”开元九年（721年）中进士，任太乐丞。王维是盛唐诗人的代表，今存诗400余首，重要诗作有《相思》《山居秋暝》等。王维精通佛学，受禅宗影响很大。佛教有一部《维摩诘经》，是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名，非常多才多艺，音乐也很精通。与孟浩然合称“王孟”。
