译文
身着短衣，单枪匹马，走过一座座风景如画的山峦。树木不敌秋霜，落叶纷纷飘坠。夕阳下，切莫回首望乡，这样只能徒增伤感。
离家之后，与你彼此深深牵挂，只有等回家之后这牵挂才能放下。到那时，我们会灯前相对，有着说不完的情话。
注释
一络索：此调又名《洛阳春》《一落索》《玉连环》等。有不同体格，俱为双调。本首为其一体，上、下片各四句，共四十六字，上、下片第一、二、四句押仄声韵。
短衣匹马：古代北方少数民族尚骑射，故穿窄袖之衣，称为短衣。这里是谓穿短衣，乘匹马，奔驰在征途上。
萧萧落木：语出杜甫《登高》“无边落木萧萧下，不尽长江滚滚来”。
萦挂：牵挂。
却愁二句：意谓待到行人归来，对灯夜话时，述说着别离之苦反倒使人生愁增恨。拥髻，捧持发髻。

一络索·过尽遥山如画创作背景
词或是康熙二十一年（公元1682年）秋觇梭龙时所作。秋日里，夕阳下，词人短衣匹马，翻山越岭，风尘仆仆，不胜疲惫。夜晚安顿下米，乡思涌卜心头。想佳人，正柔肠萦挂。只希望早日相聚，到那时拥髻灯前，故作此词来表达满腔思念之情。

一络索·过尽遥山如画鉴赏
此是一首别有情趣的抒发离愁别恨的小词。
上片写的是征途之景，“过尽遥山如画，短衣匹马”。词人身着短衣，乘着骏马，奔驰在征途上，那历历如画的青山，已被自己远远地甩在了身后。一“尽”字说明了行程之远，一“匹”字，彰显了征途之寂寞。“萧萧落木不胜秋”，承“遥山如画’而来，显得大气磅礴。“景物之萧瑟和意境之深远，历历如绘。“莫回首、斜阳下”，只顾策马而行吧，千万不要回头，那夕阳西下，落木萧萧的景象会让人断肠的。
下片则是从闺中人一方写来的，是作者假想中的情景。“别是柔肠萦挂，待归才罢”。此句字面的意思是：我是特别地牵挂你啊，这种柔肠百转的思念之心只有等你回来以后才能停止。在下片的开端，纳兰便用如此直白的语气写出了思念之情，这种感情如此浓烈，所以在分离之后，更显得孤寂和落寞。在这首词的最后，纳兰自己也写道：“却愁拥髻向灯前，说不尽、离人话。”闲愁越想越多，只有当两人重新见面之后，才能化解，离人话说不尽，说得尽的只有彼此之间对对方的牵挂。这就出现了一个问题：这个“我”指的是谁？若是容若自己，怎还会有“待归才罢”之语呢？显然，这句话说得并不是词人自己，而是与自己遥隔千里的妻子。
因此，其高明之处不在于按题中应有之义诉说了柔肠千转的思念之情以及对归家团聚之日的渴望，而在于最后做了一笔反面文章．强调自己怕发付不了他日两人相聚，灯前絮话时她的那种“说不尽、离人话”的无限深情，因而又添新愁。这较之唐代诗人李商隐的名句“何当共剪西窗烛，却话巴山夜雨时”，意思更深了一层。所以此篇极有浪漫特色，极见情味。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
