译文
你就像汉朝的隐士郭有道，与世隔绝无争，飘若浮云。
你德行高迈，我望尘莫及；你清光独照，我世尘满心。
你认为与群鸡争食物是可耻的，你只与凤凰般高雅的人为群。
有朝一日，奋羽高飞九千仞，在紫氛氤氲的太空遨游。

郭有道：又名郭泰，东汉时期名士，与许劭并称“许郭”，被誉为“介休三贤”之一。
赠郭季鹰鉴赏
唐朝文学，尤其是繁荣的盛唐文学，亦可称作政治文学。此时期的诗人及其文学作品大多以服务政治为目的，诗人们企图通过诗文一方面为自己造名气、树声誉，另一方面为唐朝的科举考试做准备。总之，一个目的就是一朝出名登第，踏入仕途。毫无疑问，李白是这些诗人中的一员，并且是非常活跃的一员。但李白注定与众不同，由于受到道家思想及不拘于儒学经典束缚的个性影响，他企图通过走终南捷径来实现自己入仕的愿望。李白在二十岁前后还未远离过四川绵州居住之地，他这时广交特异之士，活动都与蜀地道教相关。出川前的准备为李白出川后踏上仕途打好了基础。
出川后，李白一路东行，吴楚漫游，酒隐安陆，其中遇到了许多文人墨客，和他们饮酒赋诗，结伴而行。这使李白结交了很多朋友，同时诗名远播。但这种看似闲适的生活没有堙没李白求取功名，建功立业之雄心。所以，大约在开元二十年前后，李白经南阳向长安出发，目标直指一登仕途。由于受终南捷径思想影响，李白这时的活动也少不了隐居一事。他隐居于洛阳附近的嵩山与长安附近的终南山，成了人们笑称的“随驾隐士”。他一边做隐士，结交了玉真公主等人，一边写诗投赠给当时的高官显贵，可收效甚少。李白第一次入京活动，约经历两年左右，以无结果而告终，不禁发出了“主人苍生望，假我青云翼。风水如见资，投竿左黄极”的愤世呐喊。李白失势却不失志，
可见他仍然很高的抱负。在四处游览、走亲访友、干谒高官后，李白踏上了第二次入京的征途。天宝元年，李白终于时来运转，迎来了重大喜讯。玉真公主向皇上举荐李白，玄宗乃下诏徵离京归家的李白入京。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
