译文
阵阵号角声，惊醒了正在酣睡的士兵，士兵们开始紧张地准备出发。
敌军吹响了胡笳，战马闻到战斗的气息也兴奋地嘶鸣起来，双方抢着渡黄河。
太阳落到沙漠的边陲，沙漠弥漫战战士们的厮杀声。
战士们歼灭了敌军，擒获了敌酋，把绳子套在他们颈上带回来献给天子。
注释
从军行：乐府古题，属相和歌辞平调曲，内容多写军旅生活之辛苦。
吹角：军中吹响的号角声。动：惊动。行人：征人。
喧喧：喧闹，形容人多、嘈杂。
笳（jiā）：胡笳，一种管状吹奏乐器。古时为塞北、西域一带少数民族所喜用。
黄河：水名，在唐肃州（今甘肃酒泉）附近。黄河一作金河。
陲（chuí）：边陲，边地。
系：捆绑。名王：指匈奴首领。

从军行·吹角动行人创作背景
这首诗大约作于开元九年谪济州司仓参军以后。王维早年热衷政治，在谪济州司仓参军以后亲眼目睹一次普通的规模不大的出征，以及出征将士艰苦卓绝的战斗生活和杀敌立功的豪情壮志，作者感同身受写这首诗。

从军行·吹角动行人鉴赏
这首诗是作者早期的作品，早年热衷政治，奋发有为，他的边塞诗流露出爱国主义的思想，具有豪壮的英雄气概。这首诗描写了发生在边陲的一次战斗。“吹角”二句，先从行军写起。凌晨，阵阵号角声，惊醒了正在酣睡的士兵，把他们从梦中催起。于是他们紧张地准备出发，“喧喧”二字形象生动地描写了他们起床后出发前紧张忙碌的热闹场面。“笳鸣马嘶乱”以下四句，具体写战斗的过程。当双方将要遭遇时，敌军吹响了胡笳，战马闻到战斗的气息也兴奋地嘶鸣起来，一个“乱”字，概括了双方即将投入战斗时笳鸣马嘶嘈杂一片的情景，但本句语义的重点在自己一方的“马嘶”。马的兴奋，正说明战士的兴奋。“争渡金河水”的“争”，写出了战士们人人摩拳擦掌，精神抖擞、奋勇渡河，踊跃杀敌的激愤精神。“日暮”二句，写战斗一直紧张地进行着，直到太阳落到“沙漠边”，在那烟尘弥漫的战场上还传来战士的厮杀声，于此可见战斗的激烈。最后“尽系名王颈，归来见天子”写战斗取胜后，将士们凯旋而归的情景。他们歼灭了敌军，擒获了敌酋，把绳子套在他们颈上，然后带回来献给天子，自豪之情溢于言表。
全诗充满了积极报国奋发向上的情绪，流露了诗人前期较为进步的政治倾向和爱国热情，具有盛唐边塞诗激情满怀、催人振奋的时代特色。节奏鲜明，语言铿锵，善于抓住事物特点，用凝练的词语表达出丰富的思想内容，表现了诗人高度的语言技巧。

王维（701年－761年，一说699年—761年），字摩诘，汉族，河东蒲州（今山西运城）人，祖籍山西祁县，唐朝诗人，有“诗佛”之称。苏轼评价其：“味摩诘之诗，诗中有画；观摩诘之画，画中有诗。”开元九年（721年）中进士，任太乐丞。王维是盛唐诗人的代表，今存诗400余首，重要诗作有《相思》《山居秋暝》等。王维精通佛学，受禅宗影响很大。佛教有一部《维摩诘经》，是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名，非常多才多艺，音乐也很精通。与孟浩然合称“王孟”。
