齐之鸾，男，字瑞卿，号蓉川，安徽桐城县城人，明朝有名的直臣，事迹入选明史，为桐城历史上的第一位翰林。据传齐之鸾先祖本明代开国功臣凤阳徐达之后，明太祖逼死中山王徐达，徐达之子徐添福避祸南迁，更姓为齐。老宰相张英的祖母（张廷玉曾祖母）就是齐之鸾的小儿子齐近的女儿。明正德六年（1511年）29岁时中进士，入选翰林院庶吉士，后授刑部给事中。依据《蓉川公年谱》和《复姓疏》，齐之鸾先世尝居凤阳，元末迁居桐城，明初占籍县市乡，一百多年后，宪宗成化十九年癸卯正月初八日（公元1483年），家族第六世齐之鸾出生于安徽桐城县城太平坊之旧第。（据周京《蓉川先生小传》）
