译文
萧索凄冷的秋天夜晚，豆大的泪珠从我的脸上滑落。枕头和竹席微微的发凉，我翻来覆去全然没有睡意。我残存着醉意，就快要醒来。在半夜时分起身，月光明媚得如同白绢一样，夜空如同水一般绵软平静。
台阶下面“纺织娘”悲哀地啼叫这寒凉的秋天。秋风吹向院子里的树，夜晚悄悄，屋内的门也紧闭了起来。只可惜在旧时携手一起经历欢愉的地方，相思一夜就将人折磨的萎靡不振。

萧索（xiāo suǒ）：萧条冷落。
珠泪：珍珠大小的眼泪。
坠：指眼泪滑落。
枕簟（diàn）：枕头和竹席。
展转：即“辗转”，翻来覆去。
浑：全。
寐（mèi）：睡觉。
残酒：残留的醉意。
中夜：半夜。
练：柔软洁白的织品。
阶：屋前台阶。
啼（tí）：啼叫。
络纬（luò wěi）：即蟋蟀，一名莎鸡，俗称“纺织娘”。
金风：秋风。旧说以四季分配五行，秋令属金。
重（chóng）门：屋内之门。
旧欢：旧时的欢愉。
思量（liáng）：思念、回忆。
一夕：一晚。
憔悴（qiáo cuì）：瘦弱无力脸色难看的样子。

鹊踏枝·萧索清秋珠泪坠创作背景
词人此词写于南唐（937年-975年）后期，其时南唐受周、宋威胁，岌岌可危，词人自身在朋党倾轧中屡遭贬斥，在官场上郁郁不得志。词人忧心国事，壮志未酬，但迫于时代限制不得不含蓄隐晦地表达，只好通过闺中怨妇的内心视角写下了这首《鹊踏枝》。

鹊踏枝·萧索清秋珠泪坠鉴赏
起句“萧索清秋珠泪坠”，前四字写景，点明时节；后三字抒情，表现主人公在伤感落泪。起句情与景的交融，渲染了凄凉萧索的环境气氛，奠定了全词的感情基调。以下由此出发，层层深入，情与景同时推进。“枕簟微凉，展转浑无寐。”枕簟微凉，说明时至秋令；辗转无寐，则言主人公心事重重。同时“萧索清秋”象征着南唐王朝衰败的时局，抒情主人公的“珠泪坠”也暗示词人因忧心国事而难过。
“残酒欲醒中夜起”，继续承接前面词意，表明主人公睡前曾借酒消愁，暗合“珠泪坠”的意象，睡后又起，则对应“展转浑无寐”。“起”字在这里起关连作用，为全词“词眼”，下面所有词句，都接续这字，描绘“起”后情景。“月明如练天如水”。因“起”而见寒色。
下片转而描写室外近景，转换为视觉、听觉，“阶下寒声啼络纬”，庭阶传来冷冷的“纺织娘”的啼叫声，“寒”带感情色彩秋夜劲风，庭树瑟瑟，静悄悄的重门关闭着，“悄悄”，言其静谧，衬托主人公心境的——凄清。
“阶下寒声啼络纬”，因为“起”而听秋虫啼叫；“庭树金风，悄悄重门闭”，因为“起”而闻秋风吹院门。这时，主人公的残酒大概已经大醒，面对清秋之夜，踱步庭中，相思之情荡漾心中，想起了与GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人相处的甜蜜日子——“可惜旧欢携手地，思量一夕成憔悴。”主人公认为值得自己珍惜的是旧时欢愉的携手之地，想念了一个夜晚，人变得如此的憔悴，正是相思成病。
直到这最后，作品才归结出题旨，表达对旧时欢愉的深深怀念之情。这首词的最大艺术特点是情与景的交融，景中寓情，情发于景。词中“萧索清秋”象征南唐王朝处在风雨飘摇中、岌岌可危的现实。词人怀着强烈的忧患意识，已怨妇的内心视角含蓄地表达了对国事的忧虑和屡遭排挤打击的沉重心情。

冯延巳 （903--960）又名延嗣，字正中，五代广陵（今江苏省扬州市）人。在南唐做过宰相，生活过得很优裕、舒适。他的词多写闲情逸致辞，文人的气息很浓，对北宋初期的词人有比较大的影响。宋初《钓矶立谈》评其“学问渊博，文章颖发，辩说纵横”，其词集名《阳春集》。
