催榜渡乌江，神骓泣向风。
君王今解剑，何处逐英雄？
马诗二十三首·其十鉴赏
“催榜渡乌江，神骓泣向风。”这两句，写的是兵败后的项羽把乌骓送与他人，而乌骓马却依恋故主，故而“泣向风。”这两句给全诗笼上了一层悲凉的色彩。自古以来，一直是骏马配英雄，但项羽此时已经是英雄末路，因而他才要将乌骓马GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人。这就说明了英雄与骏马也始终不能长久相伴。“泣向风”既写出了乌骓马对故主的眷恋，也写出了对项羽英雄末路的境遇的悲怜。
“君王今解剑，何处逐英雄。”这两句表达了对乌骓马今后状况的同情。是作者代替马说出辛酸的话，充满着无限悲情。英雄已逝，乌骓马失去了知己，充满无处依托的迷茫。而这又何尝不是作者自身的写照呢。李贺一直自诩为“唐诸王孙”，觉得自己应当担当起护国安民的重任，而且，他十分聪慧，少年得志，自负甚高，但科举和仕途却十分坎坷，得不到重用。这是用拟物的手法写人，实际也是写他自己。作者有如乌骓马的才华，但却苦于没有像项羽这样的英雄来发现自己，重用自己。作者是英雄，却找不到能重用自己的明主，表达了李贺自身怀才不遇的悲愤感。

李贺（约公元791年-约817年），字长吉，汉族，唐代河南福昌（今河南洛阳宜阳县）人，家居福昌昌谷，后世称李昌谷，是唐宗室郑王李亮后裔。有“诗鬼”之称，是与“诗圣”杜甫、“诗仙”李白、“诗佛”王维相齐名的唐代著名诗人。著有《昌谷集》。李贺是中唐的浪漫主义诗人，与李白、李商隐称为唐代三李。有“‘太白仙才，长吉鬼才’之说。李贺是继屈原、李白之后，中国文学史上又一位颇享盛誉的浪漫主义诗人。李贺长期的抑郁感伤，焦思苦吟的生活方式，元和八年（813年）因病辞去奉礼郎回昌谷，27岁英年早逝。
