徐照（?～1211）南宋诗人。字道晖，一字灵晖，自号山民，永嘉（今浙江温州）人。家境清寒，一生未仕，布衣终身，以诗游士大夫间，行迹扁及今湖南、江西、江苏、四川等地。宁宗嘉定四年卒。徐照是“永嘉四灵”之一，其诗宗姚合、贾岛，题材狭窄，刻意炼字炼句。他在《山中寄翁卷》中写道：“吟有好怀忘瘦苦”，可见苦吟情状。据叶适说，他是“四灵”中首先反对江西派而提倡晚唐诗的诗人。徐照有《促促词》，通过农民与小吏的劳逸悲欢对比来揭露社会不平，有张籍、王建乐府诗意味，被不少选本选录。但他主要写近体诗，五律尤多。徐照一生有三种爱好：嗜苦茗、游山水、喜吟咏。死后朋友出钱为他安葬。
