阳和二月春，草木皆生意。那知田野间，斯人极憔悴。
殷勤问由来，父老各长喟。富室不怜贫，千仓尽封闭。
只图价日高，弗念民已弊。去年值饥荒，自分无噍类。
幸哉活至今，且复遇丰岁。庶几一饷乐，养育谢天地。
岂期新春来，米谷更翔贵。况又绝市无，纵有湿且碎。
何由充饥肠，何由饱孥累。恨不死荒年，免复见忧畏。
我闻父老言，痛切贯心肺。行行至平洲，景象顿殊异。
白粲玉不如，一升才十四。问谁长者家，作此利益事。
父老合掌言，子文姓陈氏。起家本儒生，畴昔乐赈施。
忆昨艰食时，巨室争谋利。米斗三百馀，独收七十二。
三都数千口，受彼更生惠。开库质敝衣，假此赒贫匮。
取本不取息，所活岂胜计。我曹非此翁，久作沟中胔。
吁嗟薄俗中，乃有此高义。吾邦贤使君，爱民均幼稚。
一闻平粜家，褒赏无不至。或与旌门闾，或与锡金币。
独有颍川翁，宠光未之被。故作行路谣，庶彻铃斋邃。
且俾殖利徒，闻风默知愧。并生穹壤间，与我皆同气。
富者盍怜贫，有如兄恤弟。恻隐仁之端，人人均有是。
顽然铁石心，何异患风痹。不仁而多财，聚易散亦易。
惟有种德家，福禄可长世。不闻眉山苏，盛美光传记。
卖田救年荒，生子为国器。不见南浦毛，一惟利是嗜。
积谷幸年荒，生子遭黥隶。天道极昭明，勿作幽远视。
谁欤为斯谣，西山真隐吏。

真德秀字景元，后更为希元，福建浦城（今浦城县晋阳镇人）本姓慎，因避孝宗讳改姓真。生于宋孝宗淳熙五年（1178年），卒于未理宗端平二年（1235年）。真德秀是南宋后期与魏了翁齐名的一位著名理学家，也是继朱熹之后的理学正宗传人，他同魏了翁二人在确立理学正统地位的过程中发挥了重大作用。

被西风吹不断新愁。吾归欲安归。望秦云苍憺，蜀山渺渀，楚泽平漪。鸿雁依人正急，不奈稻粱稀。独立苍茫外，数遍群飞。多少曹苻气势，只数舟燥苇，一局枯棋。更元颜何事，花玉困重围。算眼前、未知谁恃，恃苍天、终古限华夷。还须念，人谋如旧，天意难知。
