（1113—1186）宋兴化军莆田人，字应求。高宗绍兴八年进士。授泉州观察推官。因不附秦桧，被置闲职。桧死，召为校书郎。任普安郡王府教授。孝宗即位，迁中书舍人，出知泉州。乾道元年，除吏部侍郎同修国史。四年，授尚书右仆射，同中书门下平章事兼枢密使。以用人为己任，奖廉退，抑奔竞。凡所奏请，都关治乱安危大事。六年，以观文殿大学士知福州。以少保、魏国公致仕。谥正献。有文集。
