（1074—1137）开封人，晚寓居昆山，字唐公。审琦五世孙。徽宗崇宁五年以上舍赐进士第。累迁博士，仕两学十余年。宣和中试中书舍人，迁给事中。寻请宫祠。钦宗靖康中起知寿春府，谕遣溃卒，秋毫无犯。高宗建炎初为御史中丞，金人入侵，具陈攻守之策，宰相不能用。三年，拜参知政事，议不合求去。绍兴三年，除知绍兴府兼浙东路安抚使，有惠政。为人刚正有守，立朝无所阿附，号称贤相。卒谥文恭。有《论语解》、《孝经解》、《群史编》、《内典略录》、《进读事实》等。
