许彦先，字觉之。神宗熙宁中历官广南东路转运判官，提点刑狱，转运副使。元丰二年（一○七九），坐孙纯私贷官钱，降监吉州酒税。哲宗元祐二年（一○八七）知随州。事见《续资治通鉴长编》卷二四二、二六六、二九六，《潜研堂金石文跋尾》续第四《许彦先药洲诗跋》。今录诗八首。
