拾遣诗视孔子道，豫章配孟颜后山。自馀众作等别派，彪虥狸豹虎一斑。
我修直笔公万世，议论不到甘嘲讪。中间杜老饶寒饿，陈也绝荤黄尚可。
天公雠施略相当，一字而贫更怜我。去年臞庵太荒凉，釜中得鱼雷隐床。
了知诗祟力排摈，谁言锢疾蟠膏肓。刘郎食饱嗜昌歜，又一过目思手揽。
编诗更著顾痴笔，字字可丹藏石䃭。知君疗病我益病，心手相忘还展咏。
百年长病可得辞，两翁落唾皆可敬。忽云身后无知音，此诗百变无邪心。
候虫时鸟足感耳，我思正在南风琴。谁能首涂追四始，以经夹毂骚驾轨。
意所不快鞭曹刘，此时折汝一寸箠。长安市上逢联璧，人持一箭与我直。
请君了却三万轴，再见坐我床下客。

字器之，号臞翁，一号臞庵，自称“东塘人”。淳熙七年（1180年）乡荐第一，客居昆山。在太学，曾写诗送朱熹，又作诗悼赵汝愚，忤韩侂胄。庆元五年（1199年）进士。历任海门县主簿，漳州府学教授、广东转运司主管文字。因临安书商陈起刊刻《江湖集》受株连贬官。官至温陵通判。宝庆三年（1227年）卒。著有《臞翁诗集》2卷，收入《南宋群贤小集》。《江湖集》、《江湖后集》可见其佚诗。
